GENERAL PRIMER
Basic Conference Information Participation: The National Leaders Training (NLT) will be attended by Lingkods Leaders nationwide and leaders from Christ Youth in Action (CYA). Lingkod l eaders who will be replaced within the next six months may invite their understudy to take their place at the NLT. The NLT this year will be hosted by CYA.
Date: May 23-26, 2013 (Please plan on arriving by 9.00 am on May 23 and on departing in the morning of May 26 after breakfast). Conference events
1. Plenary Sessions - There will be two (5) plenary sessions from Thursday to Saturday. 2. Afternoon Sessions - There will be separate sessions for Lingkod and CYA for skills training - Lingkod will have a Rafting Outing on Friday May 24, 2013 You might want to consider preparing the following for the Rafting: Shirts and Shorts/ Swimming attire - Sandals with strap, aquashoes, old tennis shoes (do not wear ordinary slippers) - Extra clothes (for changing) - Bottled water - Hats, Bull caps, Sun blocks - Personal dry bags 3. 1. What to bring to the Conference - Enough clothes for 4 days, including outing clothes - Bible (with Old Testament and New Testament), pen and notebook 2. Pre- and Post- Conference Accommodation - For those who plan to arrive earlier than May 23, 2012 or leave later than May 26, 2012, you are expected to manage your own reservations for this. - Those arriving earlier or staying later than the conference dates may arrange to book their stay at Chali Beach Resort at their own expense.
