During development every model in the BSA spring gun range is put through a punishing and prolonged firing test to ensure a lifetime of trouble free use. At the end of the test the gun is subjected to an exacting visual and technical inspection to evaluate the effect of prolonged firing, only if it passes will it be deemed worthy of bearing the BSA name and world famous Piled Arms logo. Which is why when you buy a BSA you know you have a gun which will keep on doing what it was designed to do, again and again and again.

The barrel of an air rifle has an even greater influence on accuracy than many shooters realise. Not only must a barrel be expertly made with precision rifling, a properly finished bore and a perfectly true crown at the muzzle, the entire barrel setup must be compatible with the rifle that it is fitted to and the pellets used in it . For all of these factors to come together for every rifle, total control over barrel production is required. That is why BSA always makes its own barrels. Our unmatched experience in airgun-making has proven that the degree of control we insist on is absolutely essential for top performance. At BSA we control every process that goes into the making of a

barrel, from the initial selection of the steel blanks, through the forming of the bore and it's rifling, all the way to the final finishing. We know that every one of these processes has a significant effect on the performance of a barrel, and that is another reason we maintain full control of them. The new Lightning SE is the sister product of the Supersport SE. Built on the heritage of the original Lightning, the new SE model has been furnished with a brand new beech stock and a completely redesigned trigger. As with its predecessor, the Lightning SE model comes complete with volumetric silencer to reduce muzzle blast as well as a full specication Maxi-Grip scope rail. It also has a ventilated butt pad to absorb the recoil. GRT Supersport SE
The new GRT Supersport SE comes with a new beech stock and the redesigned trigger mechanism, intended to give a smooth release with minimal pressure. In addition we have included open sights and full length scope rail giving the shooter alternative means of acquiring targets. To power the gun weve exchanged the coiled mainspring for Gas Ram Technology in which nitrogen in the cylinder is compressed when the gun is cocked. Some of the benets of the gas ram include greater longevity through reduced friction; less vibration when the trigger is pulled and greater accuracy resulting from the increased speed of the pellet as it leaves the barrel.

GRT Lightning SE
To create our new GRT Lighting SE, we have taken our successful Lightning model, added the SE improvements and nally exchanged the traditional steel main spring for Gas Ram Technology. There are considerable benets to the shooter of switching to a gas ram powered air rie. The action of cocking the gun is smoother requiring the same pressure from the beginning to the end of the stroke; vibration when ring is reduced as the ram runs effortlessly down the cylinder and accuracy to target is improved as the pellet exits the barrel at greater speeds. In addition, the new GRT Lightning SE has a volumetric silencer to reduce muzzle blast and Maxi-Grip scope rail for maximum dampening effect. For years, air guns have been powered by a metal main spring which when compressed and then released produces the energy to propel the pellet down the barrel. Now, we have taken our top selling model the Lightning with it SE renements and powered it using a different engine - a pneumatic ram lled with inert nitrogen. This is Gas Ram Technology. The GRT Lightning XL SE has all the new and improved features that its spring-powered sister has. A new two-stage trigger gives a crisp release with minimal pressure. A new stock has been designed with attractive chequering at the key touch points of fore-end and pistol grip. A slim-line silencer encases the barrel and reduces the sound of muzzle blast, whilst a ventilated butt pad ensures comfortable contact with the shooters shoulder. An addition to all these features the gas ram provides further benets that enhance the shooters experience. The gas ram does not vibrate when discharged resulting in less gun movement when the trigger is pulled; the pellet exits the barrel at a faster speed resulting in better accuracy; the gas ram has a greater life expectancy than a spring with less likelihood of performance deterioration through metal fatigue whilst the cocking action is smoother and more even.

Multishot Magazine
We are delighted to introduce our new multishot magazine; a development that represents a signicant improvement to our range of multishot ries. The new magazine has a totally selfcontained indexing system, which simplies both the magazine and the gun it works in.

of advantages; it improves reliability, enhances trigger function, and improves safety because the magazine always rotates to the last empty chamber in the rota so if you cannot see a pellet in the magazine it is empty. This new style magazine works in all BSA multishot models and can even be used in all earlier models that would originally have used the old style magazines. The rotas are colour coded for calibre, blue for 4.5mm, red for 5.5mm and black for 6.35mm, they are knurled making them easy to rotate even if your hands are cold or when wearing gloves, and each chamber is numbered so you can see at a glance how many shots you have left.

The new R-10 VC silencer has the same internal arrangement as the standard VC version, but the breech end of it has an outside diameter that is the same as the shroud on the R-10 so that it mates perfectly when attached to the gun.

Scope Mounts
The importance of using top quality sight mounts cannot be overstated. The mount secures your ries aiming system and with accuracy totally dependent on the precision and quality of these essential accessories; only the best will do. Thats why BSA have produced the Scope Master range of sight mounts. Developed in conjunction with world-renowned mount specialists, B-Square, the Scope Master range has precisely the mount you need at a price you can afford. Scope Master sight mounts; just t them, forget them - and concentrate on your shooting.

Why use an adjustable Scope Mount?

These mounts offer independent adjustment allowing correct alignment of the scope to the ries bore, thus eliminating many of the problems normally associated with zeroing-in. Rather than compensating for mis-alignment errors by turning the scope turrets to their extremes, the BSA ScopeMaster Professional mount allows the scope to remain optically centred, so the elevation and windage turrets are used to dial-in allowances for trajectory and/or wind drift, rather than setting the initial zero, which is as it should be.
