(*) Milliliters of gas at 273K and 760 torr per cubic meter of oil. Concentrations are determined by the method of preparation and are verified by laboratory analysis.

Each True North DGA Sample is carefully prepared from a bulk standard. A Certificate of Concentration is delivered with each sample as a guarantee of accuracy and traceability. The Certificate of Concentration contains the actual concentrations of the different gases found in the sample. Once the sample is analyzed, the reported results should correspond to the values found on the Certificate of Concentration. If the results are outside the laboratory accepted standard deviation, procedures and calibrations are not being followed and should be verified.

DGA Oil Standard

True North
True North is a dissolved gas-in-oil standard that can be used to validate and verify laboratory equipment and operations YOUR GUIDE TO ACCURATE RESULTS Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) is the most important test that you can perform on your transformer. It is the only test that can determine the operating status of oil-filled electrical equipment. True North DGA Oil Standards enable oil testing laboratories to verify, standardize and calibrate their equipment. Transformer owners can also use True North to evaluate laboratory performance to ensure they are obtaining accurate results. TRUE NORTH LEADS THE WAY True North is the only way to verify total analytical system performance. It provides a common base for calibration of all DGA systems, independently of the gas extraction method, gas detection technique or equipment used. True North can be used as a common reference which will allow data trending using results from different laboratories. Contained in an industry standard 30cc syringe,True North can be easily shipped using IATA approved boxes. TRUE NORTH IS EASY TO USE Industry accepted glass syringes prevent loss of dissolved gases to the atmosphere or contamination by atmospheric components. Individual cardboard packaging prevents generation of fault gases by exposure to light. IATA accepted outer packaging guarantees timely and trouble free shipping of oil standards by air, worldwide. Morgan Schaffer's preparation and quality control processes are in accordance with the principles outlined in IEC 60567 and ASTM-D3612 for the preparation of oil standards. And customers can keep the syringes after use.

MORGAN SCHAFFER a pioneer in the development of DGA, has been providing the electrical industry, worldwide, with reliable and accurate results for over 35 years.
