With several constructive measures and a completely new conceptional approach, we have succeeded in clearly improving the well known Benzinger precision. To achieve highest precision, the highest precision must also be used for the components. Which is what we have resolutely done by selecting the top products of the market leaders: the ball threaded gears from Mannesmann, the linear guides from Schneeberger and the glass scales from Heidenhain. But these components alone do not constitute a precision machine. Only once the two axes have been separated, which are each now directly located on the 3.8 t heavy, very solidly designed machine bed made of vibration damping grey cast iron has it been possible to manufacture parts process sure with a tolerance range of 2. Using post process measurement with Measurement feedback, interfering influences such as tool wear can be effectively eliminated. The long hub of the table base enables the integration of additional components such as tool revolver, tooth cutting facility, grinding spindle, thread rotation unit etc. By using a new pivot loading concept enables tool exchange times of 3 sec. Thus and by using rapid motion speeds of 45m/min at 1g acceleration the mFuture is the optimal machine for high precision mass serial products. Should the output of one spindle be insufficient, the 2 spindle variant offers an interesting solution. It offers on the same area double output with synchronous working. Furthermore by using a turning station (optional) with this variant it is possible to realise front and rear working.
