R2 Digital Library
The R2 Digital Library provides electronic access to current information in nursing, health science, and medical books from reputable publishers. This resource is available 24/7 and is accessible to the MTC community from your office, home computer, or mobile device.

Accessing The Collection


Go to the librarys webpage www.lib.midlandstech.edu Click on Resources (top of page, center tab) Under technology, click on Ebooks and R2 Digital Library.

You have three ways to search: 1. Browse by Discipline (click on Browse tab) 2. A-Z Index of health topics or drug names (A-Z Index tab) 3. Search by any keyword or phrase (search box, top right side of page). To access the R2 Digital Library off campus, click on Create User Profile (top of page) and create an account. Students can schedule research sessions using Book a Librarian

Book a Librarian
The MTC Library now offers a new research service for students. Book a Librarian allows students to meet with a professional librarian who can offer assistance tailored to their needs. Reference Librarians can personally consult with students about a research question. Indiv idual consultation gives the Librarian a chance to answer question(s) without interruption. It also allows the librarian time to prepare for a particular request before the student comes in for their scheduled appointment. Students can schedule an appointment using the online appointment form.
