Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their Picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

The first four feasts are a picture of Gods plan to save the world. These historic feasts take place in the spring and represent things that have already happened.

Leviticus 23:2, Speak to the Israelites and say to them these are my appointed feasts.

Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastors Ron and Hope. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen

The Jews celebrate 7 feasts every year. Three of the feasts are celebrated on the same day. They are: Passover, Day of Unleavened Bread, and Day of First Fruits. Passover is the exact day Jesus died. On the Day of Unleavened Bread, He was in the tomb destroying sin. On the Day of First Fruits, He rose from the grave. Pentecost is exactly 50 days after our Savior rose from the grave. His disciples had gathered like he had told them to when the Holy Spirit came upon them. They spoke in tongues as the Spirit gave them power. These feasts have special meaning to all believers. The Old Testament is important to our faith; so are the Feasts of the Lord. God started them to be a reminder of what He has done for the Jews, what Christ has done for us, and what we can expect from Him in the future. They are a reminder for us to celebrate our faith with love and thanksgiving.
