We screened the applicants for the best mix of the required qualities. Eleven of the applicants failed to meet the required qualifications. Two did not display any particular interest, strength, or experience in the key emphasis of this position. Two other candidates may have met the required qualifications but lacked the strengths of the top tier. Three applicants displayed the best blend of the qualifications required. Along with that, they meet many of the preferred qualifications. They are: Ms. Asin Afzal Ms. Ishika Ansari Mr. Abraar Naom I conducted interviews with Ms. Asin Afzal, Ms. Ishika Ansari and Mr. Abraar Naom; while Ms. Ansari and Mr. Naom are currently job holders, Ms. Afzal is currently unemployed. Experience counts in every job. Experience: Three years of job experience previously. Got Trainee of the Year award once. Also volunteers at the Youth Center with unemployed yet talented youngsters. Has done parttime job at OSIC for six months and received Outstanding status.

Personal Attributes: Ms. Asin Afzal is an involved, intelligent, focused young woman who is ready to hit the ground running once she arrives at the office. She comes from a very close family of three children. Her older brother is a Ph.D student. Her younger sister is in High School. She feels that her biggest strength is that she works really hard for what she wants. She was insomniac for a while once and it had become difficult for her to attend her job in the morning. Yet there had been no complaints of her being late for once. She feels that her biggest weakness is that she is overcritical of herself, and sometimes spends too much time focusing on what she can not do, instead of what she can. INTERVIEWEE #2 (Ms. Ishika Ansari) Education: Ms. Ishika Ansari received her B.A. in Literature from University of South-Pacific with 3.63 in 2004 and M.A. in Linguistics from Asia Pacific State University with 3.67 in 2006. She also has an M.B.A. from Asian State University. Experience: Six years of experience as an Assistant Editor of the weekly magazine News of the Week. She is passionate about environmental science and is involved with it at various levels in her locality. She thinks her sincerity is her best quality. She likes to do her duty and always does it in time. According to her, the biggest flaw in her is the frustration she faces if things do not go per the plan. INTERVIEWEE #3 (Mr. Abraar Naom) Education: Mr. Abraar Naom did his B.Com in Finance from IOWA University of Bangladesh with 3.65 in 2004. He completed his M.Com in Finance from the same university with 3.64 in 2005. Apart from that he is currently doing his MBA in Southern Pacific Institute. He grabbed a CCNA degree out of his interest in computer networking in between 20052006.

Experience: Currently working in one of the reputed companies of the city. Five years of working experience there. Receives Appreciation of Work award every year. Has been in the management for a local field project. Currently associating with an NGO as well. Personal Attributes: He speaks like a wise professor very carefully and is deliberate with his word choice. His interview was a bit slow to start, as he is so thoughtful and seemingly bright, yet as things got rolling, he was very open and eager to learn more about the post and its environment. CONCLUSION All three candidates undoubtedly deserve the position. Yet we had to recommend them in ranks and it was a tough decision to make. During the interview, we were all in agreement regarding Ms Afzals honesty, humor, imagination and real humility. Hillary is a thoughtful and strongly optimistic young woman. This candidate deserves our highest recommendation- Outstanding. It was difficult to draw Ms Ansari out and get a sense of her personality. She is confident of herself but her weakness may sometime cause an issue. But she as well is a desirable candidate. Mr. Naom is no less than the former two. He seems to perseverance and a certain wisdom that makes him a charming person altogether. He truly appears to be one-in-a-hundred. He is a marvelous candidate for the post and we recommend him.
