Heres an activity for students to practice their sight words. Students will: -Trace, print independently, rainbow write, cover the word and try to write without looking, find and glue the word, and for more advanced students, build the word with each letter. -When done, read all the words to them-selves, to a partner, and to you. Make sheets into book for self study and for reference when writing. The complete 50-word set is available in my Sight Word centers bundle!

This is free copy of a class favorite! It works well as small group literacy centers. You will need: -pushpins -cardboard -black paper -word sheets Place the word sheets on top of black construction paper, and pin them both to a piece of thick cardboard. Foam poster board from the dollar store works well too! Students simply poke small holes along the letters of the words, whispering the letters sound for each poke. When they are done, hold the black paper up to the lights and see their words shining through! Next, send the words home for homework& practice. My students like to put the words up on their bedroom windows to let the light shine through; they practice them each morning when they wake up! The entire 50 word set is available in my Sight Word Centers Bundle!

This is massive hit each year! Students trace their words, then make them all fancy with swirls, and then they get to make each word into a ring! Just glue around their finger, and when all 5 rings are on, they can practice them all day, and even bring them home so parents know which words youre working on! This size fits my students, but you can adjust as needed by reducing copies.
