The goal of the Basic Seminar is to help you learn to see life from Gods perspective. It is based on seven universal non-optional principles of life. It illustrates exactly how the conicts we face in our lives can be traced back to violations of these principles; then it gives practical steps on how to resolve the conicts.

Resolving Conicts
identifying the root source of problem
Why There Are Conicts Just as there are universal laws that govern the world of nature, so there are principles of life that govern personal and interpersonal relationships. If any principle is violated, there are predictable consequences. Principles that are violated during youth continue to damage relationships throughout life. Many adult conicts are actually youth conicts that were never resolved. Resolving Conicts 1. How to identify three root problems Surface problems must be traced to root causes; then, practical steps can be followed to bring about lasting solutions. 2. How to respond to authorities God designed four authority structures to provide protection, direction, and provision. When asked to do something wrong, Daniel followed seven steps of action that provide valuable insight on how to respond to authorities. 3. How to resolve guilt Guilt from past failures produces physical, emotional, and spiritual consequences. Precise direction is given to resolve this guilt and turn failures into a life message. 4. How to overcome bitterness If we do not forgive the offenses of others, these hurts will lead to bitterness and damage us. Learn how to turn anger and irritations into genuine love.
2. Authority
Honoring the responsibilities of parents, church leaders, government, and other authorities and learning how God works through them to provide direction and protection. Honoring my authorities brings Inward Peace.
3. Responsibility
Realizing I am accountable to God for every thought, word, action, and motive. Asking forgiveness of those I offend brings a Clear Conscience.
4. Suffering
Allowing the hurts from offenders to reveal blind spots in my own life, and then seeing how I can benet their lives. Fully forgiving offenders brings Genuine Joy.
5. Ownership
Understanding that everything I have has been entrusted to me by God, and wisely using it for His purposes. Yielding my rights to God brings True Security.
6. Freedom
I am 19 years and just finished the Basic Life Principles Seminar. I cannot express how it has changed me in a powerful way. I have never been more excited about being a Christian as I am now, and cant wait to go to the seminar next year when it comes back to my area! - Jonathan Enjoying the desire and power to do what is right, rather than claiming the privilege to do what I want. Regaining ground surrendered to sin brings Moral Purity.
7. Success
Discovering Gods purpose for my life by engrafting Scripture in my heart and mind, and using it to think Gods thoughts and make wise decisions. Meditating on Scripture brings Life Purpose.

Conrming Truth With Genuine Love These truths must be balanced with love. Love is expressed in character qualities such as gratefulness, generosity, sincerity, wisdom, patience, humility, and loyalty. If any principle, such as authority, is not accompanied by compassion, patience, gentleness, deference, and exibility, others will react to the principle. Therefore, we are to speak the truth in love (See Ephesians 4:15).
How a CEO Found Lasting Answers for His Family and Business Our oldest child was 13 when we attended our first Basic Youth Conflicts Seminar. Today all four of our children are happily married and have given us 21 grandchildren. We attribute the good results of our marriage, family, and business to the teachings of the Basic Seminar, especially in the areas of child training, forgiveness, self-acceptance, and yielding rights. I have also found principles in the Seminar extremely valuable in resolving many business problems. After 30 years of life-changing results, I would highly recommend this Seminar to anyone who wants lasting answers. - Wes Cantrell -
