Study Of The Word Prayer This study took place between the fall of 1999 and Passover 1999.

It covers 118 scriptures. The scriptures will be given and the thought/meaning from the scriptures. Notes on the thought/meaning will also be given. I hope you enjoy the study. Scriptures Thought/meaning 1 Samuel 7:5-6 Prayer and confession 1 Samuel 12:23 Stop praying, start sinning Note: If one stops praying to God then they will start sinning. Matthew 24:20 Pray to escape the tempest Note: The word tempest implies a storm of wind, but of rain also. In the winter time in Israel its rains. Philippians 1:9 Prayer for a Love-Feast Note: The word love here is agape, which translates to a love-feast. Note: The word worthy in the Greek means to deem fit. That is deemed fit to do God's work. 2 Timothy 4:16 Prayer for no inventory Note: Paul prayed to God that he didn't hold it against those that didn't stand or support Paul. In effect, not taking an inventory for this failing. It is called unpardonable because those that commit it don't want forgiveness. So it is useless praying for someone in this status with God. And what does the word Torah mean? Instruction!
