Maiocco called the Thirtieth regular Meeting of the Medford City Council to order at 7:00 P.M. at the Howard F. Alden Memorial Auditorium, Medford City Hall.

MOTION, ORDERS AND RESOLUTIONS 10-636-Offered by President Maiocco Be it Resolved that the administration take the appropriate action to publicize the new rules and regulations from the Mass Dept. of Revenue of the senior circuit breaker tax credit for 2010. 10-637-Offered by Ccouncillor Penta Be it Resolved that further discussion on the cost impact of the Mayor's new trash program be made. 10-638-Offered by Councilllor Penta Be it Resolved that the city administration appear before our city council meeting for the council and the public to see and hear an explanation as to the reasoning why the Mayor's shallow safety precautions along, loss of parking along with new road reconstruction on the ring road is ongoing. COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR 10-639October 7, 2010 To the Honorable President and Members of the Medford City Council City Hall Medford, MA 02155 Dear Mr. President and City Councillors: I respectfully request and recommend that your Honorable Body appropriate the sum of Fifteen Thousand, Twenty-Five Dollars, ($15,025.00) from Sewer Retained Earnings to Law Department Claims Account # 010-151-5762. This request will supplement the law department claim account for payment of a sewage backup claim. A copy of the approval of payment for this claim is attached. Prior to this transfer, Sewer Retained Earnings stands at approximately $2.5 million dollars. The year-end figures have not been finalized as of this date.
