Maiocco called the Thirty-Fifth regular Meeting of the Medford City Council to order at 7:00 P.M. at the Howard F. Alden Memorial Auditorium, Medford City Hall.

ROLL CALL SALUTE TO THE FLAG RECORDS


The Records of the Thirty-Fourth regular Meeting of November 16, 2010 were passed to Councilor Penta. The Tabled Records of October 26, 2010 were passed to Councillor Lungo-Koehn HEARING 10-631A Public Hearing will be held by the Medford City Council in the Howard F. Alden Memorial Auditorium, City Hall, 85 George P. Hassett Drive, Medford, MA., on Tuesday Evening, November 23, 2010, at 7:00 P.M. on petitions from Rudolph Zuccaro d/b/a Rudys Upholstery Company, for a Special Permit to amend the zoning ordinance in accordance with Medford Zoning Ordinance Chapter 94, City of Medford Zoning Ordinance, section 94-148 (d) Table of Use Regulations, Use 33, to operate a Consumer Service Business at the location 240 Boston Avenue, Medford, MA. On said site being located in a (I) Industrial Zoning District:

City Clerk Advertised in Medford Mercury November 9, 2010 and Nov 16, 2010 MOTION, ORDERS AND RESOLUTIONS 10-691-Offered by Councillor Penta Be it Resolved without any consultation with this Council, under what authority does the Mayor go forward to seek out another outside the City consultant by having a pre-submission conference on Monday, Nov. 22, 2010 at 10:00 AM, Room 201 with the intent of seeing out an owners project manager for a Medford Square Parking garage with proposed submissions due by Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010 11:00 AM in the Office of Procurement with a fee to be negotiated for a phase I not to exceed $30,000 when in fact this council has voted by four in the majority to not entertain the Governor's Ave garage proposal in addition to exploring the possibility of a Forest Street parking facility with a privately owned company. 10-692- Offered by Councillor Penta Be it Resolved that the Mayor stop the continuing mis-use of the reverse 911 callings to Medford residents about his trash program. 10-693- Offered by Councillor Penta Be it Resolved in the interest of public safety that after the Mayor spent over $400,000 and eliminated more than 40 parking spaces at the Rte16 Condon Shell location that lighting be installed in the parking lot area.
