The Officers on Special Duty (OSD) should be a self motivated individual with outstanding communication skills. OSDswouldbeexpectedtomanagefundraising, alumni relations, corporate relations and support the DeanandtheChiefRelationshipDevelopmentOfficer. a) One position is for managing relationship with alumni and corporate. The responsibility includes producing the monthly alumni enewsletter, Knowledge Tree; sourcing material, editing, formatting and uploading. The responsibility also includesmanagingeventsorganisedbyACRoffice. TheOSDwillbeexpectedtomaintainprofessional and technical knowledge by attending training programs and workshops; establishing personal networks; etc. The OSD will also be expected to contributetoteameffortbyaccomplishingrelated resultsasneeded.

b) Two positions are for coordination of MOUs and handling Donor relations. The responsibility also includes handling the coordination of visits by guests.ThiswillrequireinterfacingwiththeGuest House,Transport,andSecuritySections.Managing events organized by ACR Office will also be the responsibility of this position. The OSDs will be expected to maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training programs and workshops; establishing personal networks; etc. The OSDs will also be expected to contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Good oral and written communication skills are required, along with demonstratedabilitytosetpriorities,exercisejudgement and work with diplomacy and discretion in a high pressureenvironment.Inthisrole,onewillbenetworking withInstitutefunctionaries,AlumniAssociationdirectors, industryexecutives,scientists,academicsandotherfrom countriesacrosstheworld.
