JOB PURPOSE: To contribute to the development and implementation of the Universitys student recruitment strategy. To manage the Universitys Undergraduate Open Days and other student recruitment and conversion events. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with the Senior Assistant Registrar (Student Recruitment) and with academic and administrative departments to manage and develop Warwicks Undergraduate Open Days. Lead on a range of on-campus student recruitment and conversion events, including departmental post-offer open days. Provide information and advice to departments on University reviews, stakeholder analysis and market research findings to inform the development and delivery of high quality, appropriately targeted and comprehensively evaluated student recruitment and conversion events. Serve as the principal student recruitment contact for designated academic departments, providing advice and support for specific student recruitment initiatives. Contribute to the planning and implementation of student recruitment strategies, policies and procedures for both undergraduates and postgraduates.

Contribute to a range of market research projects where they relate to the recruitment of students. Work closely with relevant colleagues to market and promote Warwicks undergraduate and postgraduate courses effectively. Work productively with the Widening Participation team on a range of initiatives to support the Universitys strategic commitments in this area. Contribute to the highest standards of customer service. Work collaboratively with the International Office on marketing initiatives to maintain parity and quality of recruitment messages, and to tailor content and tone according to different information requirements. Contribute to the planning and implementation of student recruitment strategies, policies and procedures for both undergraduates and postgraduates. Contribute to a range of market research projects where they relate to the recruitment of students. Represent the University at higher education events aimed at recruiting both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Support the Universitys development of its relationships with schools by co-leading on specific events management for teachers and in sessions at UK schools and colleges. Present to audiences at Open Days and Departmental Visit Days on a variety of relevant topics. Support a number of special projects from time to time, which may involve contributions to the wider University administration, as determined by the Academic Registrar and/or the Director of Student Admissions and Recruitment. University Degree Ceremonies You will support from time to time a variety of institution-wide recruitment events and activities. In particular you will have specific responsibility for supporting the University Degree Award Ceremonies. At given times in the academic cycle this will constitute a significant element of the role.

REQUIREMENTS The post holder must be able to demonstrate: Educated to at least an upper second class honours degree or equivalent work experience Strong event management skills and experience, ideally in a higher education context Experience of project work, including project management Knowledge and understanding of the higher education sector Experience of working productively with colleagues and external contacts at a range of levels Excellent communication skills with experience in presenting to a range of target audiences Attention to detail and a highly organised approach to dealing with a number of simultaneous projects The ability to master new areas of knowledge/skills rapidly A flexible approach to work and the ability to work independently or as part of a wider team Excellent IT and digital media skills with the capacity to master new systems quickly Ability to analyse and synthesise data Line management / supervisory experience
