Reader type 1: New to basin water resources management and planning If you do not have any experience than you might follow the reading path: You can start to read and browse thru the Technical reference manual and Technical reference manual addendum . Next you can start working with RIBASIM step by step as outlined in the Quick start guide . Next you can start with your own application and consult the User manualand Technical reference manualswhen needed. Finally the papers can be read for more background information on specific applications.

Reader type 2: Some knowledge on basin water resources management and planning and none of Ribasim If you already have some knowledge on basin water resources management and planning but not of RIBASIM, you might follow the reading path: You can start working with RIBASIM step by step as outlined in the Quick start guide . Next you can read and browse the Technical reference manual and Technical reference manual addendumto pick-up the essential modelling concepts of RIBASIM. Next you can start with your own application and consult the User manualand Technical reference manualswhen needed. Finally the papers can be read for more background information on specific applications.

Reader type 3: Knowledge on basin water resources management and planning and previous RIBASIM versions. If you already have some experience with previous versions of RIBASIM, you might follow the reading path: Start with reading the attachment 1 of the RIBASIM Version 6.32 User manual and the RIBASIM Version 6.33 Technical reference manual addendum to check what the latest features of RIBASIM. Continue with your own basin applications. Previous RIBASIM applications (Rbn-directory) can be copied into the new version (Ribasim6-directory) and will be automatically updated when you select the application.
