Approach to market-1KPUR: Concept A: A ready to use wood to wood joint adhesive for carpenters who want high strength,

fast curing joint without the use of nails Demonstration: 1. Ask customer to show their standard wood to wood joint practice 2. If he uses nail , then ask him about the major inconvenience he face in this practice 3. Note the time taken for finishing the activity(separately note the time taken for finishing the nailing process ) and starting clamping time 4. Now give customer a demo of 1 KPUR 5. Note the time taken for finishing the activity & starting clamping time Use: Time taken with Customers practise Application time Nailing time Starting Clamping time Finishing clamping time 6. 7. De-clamp the 1KPUR joint after 30 min Do the strength test for both the joints (if possible) and ask customer to compare in terms of machinability. Note #: In strength test, a person tries to open the joint only with the help of hammer & the success of the joint is measured in terms of the effort & time a person spends in opening a joint. 8. Concept B: A ready to use, easy to apply low consumption wood to wood adhesive for carpenters who wants to use adhesive without dirtying their hands ( wastage and inconvenience) Demonstration: 1. Request customer to demonstrate their current wood to wood joint. 2. Now ask customers about the major inconvenience he face in terms of spillage & application ( ask him to show his hands ,it will surely have some spots left due to the prior usage of epoxies) 3. Now demonstrate them the use of 1 KPUR (without the use of spreader ),also stress upon the one side application of 1 KPUR 4. Clamp the joint 5. De-clamp the joint after 30 min.

Ask customers to join two pieces of wood using their traditional practice& ask them about approximate time after which joint become machinable 2. Give them a demo of 1 KPUR with similar wood pieces without the use of nail Clamp the joint & then de-clamp the joint after 30 min 3. Cut the log transversally into 2 halves 4. Take 1st half of the joint and perform the initial strength test 5. Ask them about the machinability of the piece 6. Now put the other half into a container filled with water 7. Remove the piece from water after 4 hrs 8. Ask him to do sanding and check the finishing 9. Now perform the strength test 10. Ask him to compare

o 1 KG FV= 150 Rs o Kg = 75 Rs Now highlight him the 1 side application of 1KPUR .So for similar purpose double quantity of Fevicol is applied. o Hence 1 KG FV= 500 gm. 1 KPUR Now ask him about the cost of a nail. Ask him about the number of nail he will use for a 1 m*5 cm wooden log. o Normally a nail is applied after every 15 cm. So around 6 nails will be required Now ask him to compute the cost of nails ( 0.4 * 6 = 2.4 Rs) Now ask him about how many 1 m. log he will do with 1 Kg of fevicol. o Say he says =20 o Then calculate the cost of nail = 2.4 * 20 = 48 Rs Now if we add we will find that cost of Fevicol & 1 KPUR is at par Now highlight him the other benefits which he will get extra

Concept A: An instantaneous curing wood filling adhesive to remove work delays Punch line kaam chalu chutkiyo main Demonstration: Ask customer to demonstrate their current wood filling practice Ask him about the average time required by the filled space to cure Now give him a demo of Wudfill Sand the filled space Wait for the customers filled space to cure Now ask him to compare the time Show them the extra time required by him which could be used for other works # Note: Carefully note the time.

Ask customers to show their current wood filling practice in a log of wood & ask them about the strength of the filled gob and minimum time taken for it to become workable Fill similar hole with Wudfill Ask customer to sand the Wudfill cured area Now wait for the customers filled area to cure Now ask customer to compare both the holes

Concept C: An easy to apply fast curing wood filling adhesive which can be machined instantaneously Demonstration: Ask customers to show their current wood filling practice in a log of wood & ask them about the strength of the filled gob and minimum time taken for it to become workable Now demonstrate them use of Wudfill by filling a hole After sanding ask them to hammer a nail on the filled hole Note # : Be careful during the initial saw dust pressing and filling operation as if not properly this test could fail .In case of a deeper hole it is advisable to do filling in multiple layers .
