Use proper PPE for the job. Make sure we continue to use good communicating. Use proper ppe when cleaning with rig soap. Complete a JSA for each job. First day of hitch so keep mind on job at hand.
Observed hand offloading equipment with crane. Hand went over job and completed JSA with his flagger and rigger before starting. Hand waited till he was signaled by flagger before picking up on equipment. He used smooth operation to prevent causing excessive swing of load or shock loading. Told hand good work on proper crane operation.
