Over the years, I have performed for Fortune 500 companies (e.g., AIG, Swiss
Re, and Navigators), fundraisers and events of every type, U.S. Naval Sea
Systems Command with eight admirals in attendance, additional military
shows overseas and at home (e.g., 10th Mountain Division, 2-159 ARB, and
Fort Belvoir), and comedy clubs in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
Selling my act and myself.
Like most comics, often times I acted as my own booking agent by
identifying potential clients, pitching the key decision-makers, following up,
and contracting for my performance. In addition, I designed and maintained
my own website (www.davegoldstein.com), created on-line marketing, and
budgeted my fees and expenses.
