SHEET No.-2 PROJECTION OF SOLIDS

Que.-1

A Square Pyramid of base side 30 mm and Axis 80 mm long is lying on H.P. Such that its base sides are equally (45) inclined to V.P. and one of its slant edge is perpendicular to H.P. draw its Projections.

Que.-2

A Cylinder 40 mm diameter and 50 mm axis is resting on one point of a base circle on H.P. while its axis makes 450 with H.P. and plane of the axis 350 with V.P. Draw Projections.

Que.-3

A Regular hexagonal Pyramid, side of base 35 mm and height 70 mm is resting on one of its triangular faces on the H.P. and the edge of base contained by that triangular face make an angle of 30 with V.P. Draw its Projections.

Que.-4

Draw the Projections of a cone having base diameter 50 mm and axis 60 mm long, when it is resting on the H.P. on a Point on its base circle in such way that one of its generator to the H.P. and the plan of axis makes an angle of 45 with V.P.

SHEET No.-3 SECTIONS OF SOLIDS

Que.-1

A Cylinder of 50 mm base diameter and 80 mm long axis is standing on the H.P. on its base. A section plane which is perpendicular to V.P. and inclined at 45 H.P. is bisecting the axis of the cylinder. Draw the front view, sectional top view and true shape of Section. A Cone having base diameter 60 mm and axis 80 mm long is standing on its circular base on the H.P. A section plane making an angle of 45 with the H.P. and passing the midpoint of axis cutting this cone. Draw the front view, sectional top view and true shape of section. A hexagonal Pyramid 30 mm base side and height 70 mm long axis is resting on its triangular faces on the H.P. Its axis is parallel to V.P. A horizontal cutting plane bisects the axis of Pyramid. Draw sectional top view and true shape of the section. A cone 50 mm diameter and axis 60 mm long is resting on the H.P. on its base. A Vertical cutting plane inclined at 60 to V.P. and perpendicular to H.P. cuts this cone 7 mm away from its axis. Draw sectional front view and true shape of the section.

SHEET No.-5 INTERSECTION OF SOLIDS

Que.1 A square prism 30 mm base sides and 70 mm axis is completely penetrated by another square prism of 25 mm sides and 70 mm axis, horizontally. Both axis intersects & bisects each other at right angle. All faces of prisms are equally inclined to V.P. Axes of both are parallel to V.P. Draw Projections showing curves of intersections. Que.2 A Vertical Cone having base diameter 75 mm and axis 110 mm long is resting on the H.P. on its base. A cylinder of 40 mm diameter, intersects the axis of the cone at right angle and 27 mm above the base. The axis of the cylinder is parallel to both H.P. and V.P. Draw the projections with showing lines of intersections. Que.3 A vertical cylinder of 50 mm base diameter is penetrated by another cylinder of same dimensions. The axis of the penetrating cylinder is parallel to H.P. and V.P. as well as 7 mm away from the axis of vertical cylinder. Draw their projections showing the curves of intersection. Que.4 A square vertical prism having 50 mm base sides is penetrated by another horizontal prism of 30 mm sides. The axis of the penetrating solid is 7 mm in front of the vertical Prism. If the rectangular faces of both the prism are equally inclined to V.P. then draw Projection showing the lines of intersection.
