Non-Standard Entry route

Where an applicant falls slightly short of the standard entry criteria, they may still be considered under the non-standard entry route. As every application is considered on its own merit, places may be offered on the basis of non-standard entry qualifications, including maturity, professional qualifications and relevant professional experience.

What happens next?

Your application will be considered by the admissions committee and you will usually receive a decision within 1 week. In some cases, students may be asked to provide additional documents, further explanations or to attend an on-line interview to be conducted by a senior member of the committee. Where possible this will be arranged within 1 week of receiving the application.

How will I receive the decision?

If successful, you will be notified via email and will be issued with a formal offer letter. In some cases, this offer may be conditional on certain criteria, such as achieving an English language qualification. If the admissions committee does not feel that you are eligible for your chosen course of study, you will usually be offered a place on a lower level of study which will enable you to progress to meet your stated goals.
