OVERVIEW
Th is document and associated test reports sha l l constitute a ll tests required to verify th a t the BBQv8-3 h ardware when installed in the BEQ6200 meets the BBQv8.3 System Requirements Specif ication for the RF and System Timing requirements. The BBQv7 SysRS is located at the following interwoven web link. h ttp://ecm.bigbandnet.com/worksitemp/dispatch?da tasource=documentFolder&operati on=zoom&objectId=!V3!WSMP!C!FD$85881!&returnUrl=124776751388960365 The physica l layer performance will be verif ied over the frequency range of 50 1002 MHz. Tests are included to cover the requirements for Korean Certif ication including spurious requirements from 1GHz to 3GHz, and the Phase Noise at +/- 10 KHz.

TEST PROCEDURES
The following DVT Tests are conducted to ensure the BBQv8.3 meets the requirements of the BBQv8.3 SysRs located in Interwoven at the following link. http://ecm.bigbandnet.com/worksitemp/link//V3/WSMP/C/D$17189/ These tests also verify that the BBQv8.3 meets the requirements over the extended temperature range, -5 to +55 Celsius.

S ingle BBQ8.3 with TX Power MUTE ON all Ports Fully loaded with Four BBQ8.3 with MAX TX Power on all Ports Run the temperature and voltage tests at -5, 22, and 55 C ambient temperatures.
A) Make a record of the reported voltages on the BBQv8.3 with the BEQ6200 ambient temperature set to -5, 22, and 55 Celsius. B) Record the reported voltages for each of the BBQv8.3 modules. 1) Use the spu login for each shelf to access the BBQ da ta. 2) Use the command ac, from the BBQ CLI.

Th is test verifies the capability of the EQAM to transmit with in the EURO and North American DRFI required frequency range, and the BigBand specified extended frequency range, with in required frequency accuracy. It verifies compliance with CEA-542-B STD, IRC, and HRC digita l QAM carrier frequency plans, and the minimum frequency step size requirement. Measure the frequency accuracy with a PSA analyzer, using the demodulator function. 4.13.1.1.Test Equipment PSA analyzer in demodulation mode to measure power and frequency

4.17.3. DRFI-06.0 Test Procedures Annex B The frequencies are listed with the lowest frequency in the block as the set frequency. The Auriga test code adjusts the frequency to enter the correct center frequency over the SNMP interface.
4.17.3.1.Range, Power Level Step, Suppress, and Accuracy definitions The Accuracy tests the Level with a fixed MIB level commanded and the power of adjacent channels relative to each of the oth er QAMs. The Range Test verif ies th a t the Level can be set to the Max and Min leve l by adjusting the MIB level unit the desired level is ach ieved. The Power Level Step verif ies a step size of 0.2dB is with in +/- 0.1dB. The Suppression test measures: a) Reference level for each QAM signal b) Measures the suppression in each suppressed channel with One QAM signal ON, and others OFF, for all combinations c) Measures the suppression in a suppressed channel with one QAM signal suppressed and others ON, for all combinations.
d) Measures each channel suppression with all QAM signals suppressed e) Measures the Block Noise Floor with the transmitter set to MUTE. 4.17.3.2.S ingle QAM Test Procedure Annex B Power level accuracy, power level step accuracy over 8dB of range, power leve l range, and all the suppression tests including MUTE are tested in th is procedure.
