Clifford Cancelosi was Appointed as Chief Information Officer at A Place for Mom

Seattle, WA-based A Place for Mom has Appointed Clifford Cancelosi as Chief Information Officer Clifford Cancelosi was named Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Technology of A Place for Mom, Inc. in April 2013. In this role he is responsible for the strategic vision, operations and overall management of the companys technology division. He is particularly passionate about establishing operational excellence programs leading to increased efficiencies, reduced costs and improved customer satisfaction. Cancelosi has more than 20 years of experience building and operating technology solutions, establishing disciplined engineering processes and teams, creating a data driven culture, identifying and re-mediating bottlenecks preventing the business from scaling, and envisioning innovative solutions that grow the business and delight customers. Prior to joining A Place for Mom, Cancelosi was the Vice President of Technology and CIO at drugstore.com. Prior to drugstore.com, Cancelosi led consulting engagements at Walmart.com and Target.com and before that spent approximately seven years at Amazon.com in senior leadership roles in the Fulfillment Operations and Merchant Technologies divisions. Cancelosi holds a Bachelors of Arts and Sciences in Accounting and Computer Science from the University of Washington and a Master of Healthcare Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
