1.0 Speech by Head of English Panel 1.1 The Head of English panel welcomed all the members and wants all the English Language teacher to put in their effort to improve the standard of English in the school. 2.0 Speech by GPK 2.1 She stressed on the importance of reading in each lesson. She emphasizes on improving the overall passing percentage should be more than 90% for all standards from Year 1 till Year 6. 2.2 She reminded teachers to give importance during the teaching and identify the weak students to help them from the beginning. 2.3 She suggested to have a post mortem meeting after every examination to discuss the issues and ways to resolve them.

3.2.1 (1) Three books will be used for Year 1 & 2 3A - Comprehension/ Spelling 3C - Making Sentences 3D Handwriting 3.2.2 3.2.3 3.2.4 Teachers must have the Curriculum Specifications with them during each lesson. Teachers must give activities according to the pupils ability. Teachers are reminded to submit the yearly plan on the 30th of December. Action : All Teachers 3.3 The Marking of books 3.3.1 3.3.2 3.3.3 3.3.4 3.3.5 All the books used must be marked regularly and up to date. Teachers must focus on spelling and sentence structure. Remedial and enrichment activities should be given. Teachers must stamp the books every month. Teachers must make sure that the pupils to do correction. 5.0 Monthly Test 5.1 5.2 5.3 5.4 5.5 Monthly Test will be held four times. The draft must be submitted to Head of Panel two weeks earlier. Must have prepared by , checked by and approved by. For Level One , the font is 12 and the pictures must be clear. Test / Exam mark analysis must be given two weeks after the test / exam. Action : All Teachers

6.0 Others 6.1 6.2 6.3 6.4 6.5 6.6 6.7 6.8 Headcount must be given to Head Of Panel before 8th of January. Headcount will be done for each Monthly Test. Head of panel wants each Year to set its GPM. The English Panel is allocated with RM 1045.52. Teachers were asked by the Head Of Panel to list down the materials that they need in the teaching process. Teachers are required to prepare reading materials for SAL. The teachers must use teaching aids and LCD in teaching process. Teachers must write reflex after each lesson . Teachers will be given time-tables on preparing Monthly Test and English Corner. Action : All Teachers 7.0 The meeting adjourned at 12.00
