A Message from our Supreme Commander
Well we are on the eve of May mini Month, the Braille scale bonanza, for those who joined us last year it is a great group build. Just get yourself a braille (1:72 scale) or smaller build and get it done from start to nish in one month! I am really happy this year as my little sister Mel is joining in, hopefully her rst nished model and group build. Hey, we have our rst modeller of the month and I really want to congratulate Terry Barrow, a great member, a very kewl modeller and a great contributor to the TnT family. I have had a great time building my Tilly, I am honoured to have it in Tamiya Model Magazine International, really it is just a sweet build and now it is available for everyone to enjoy. Until next month, have great fun modelling.

EDITORIAL
Issue #2 April 2010
Well, here we are with Issue #2 of Armoured Fury. Firstly, I would like to thank everyone for the great feedback that was received for the rst issue. It is greatly appreciated and very encouraging. Here at Tanks and Things we have some great ideas for future issues of the magazine. As always, we are looking for any ideas, suggestions, and contributions from you the members to make this monthly magazine even better. photograph of a good model, than an average photograph of a great model. With that in mind, here is some basic advice on photographing your model kits 1. Try and use a consistent background colour. Use some coloured card which is available from newsagents or art stores;

So, what is in this issue? Well, as Jenny has already pointed out, we have our rst Modeller of the Month. We also have a two page spread of Awesome Outcomes covering both armour, gures and even an aircraft (also known as a wingy thingy here on Tanks & Things). We also have a special Work in Progress for everyone here. This month we will focus entirely on a very special and unique build of an Me-410. Yes another wingy thingy! As usual we have some selected new items available for you all to spend your hard earned cash on from manufacturers around the world.

2. Ensure you include the entire model in one photograph. There is nothing worse than bits cut off - unless you are zooming in to highlight a section; 3. Try to avoid using your cameras ash. The ash generates a harsh light that washes out the colours; 4. Dont photograph your pride and joy on your workbench. There is nothing worse than a great model with a whole lot of junk behind it. In a future issue, we hope to get an expert model photographer to provide a full article on photographing your model kits. Until next time readers, have fun and keep modelling.... Oh and dont forget to check out Jennys Tilly which will be published in a future issue of Tamiya Modelling Magazine International.

One of the most difcult parts of this job is deciding what model kits to show in each issue. There are so many great models on display on Tanks and Things that I would really like to include each and every one. Unfortunately, I think that would make each issue much too long. To help decide what pictures to include I tend to use one basic principle - Is it a good photograph? It is easier to include a great

Find out how to make exible tracks out of Dragons Magic Tracks with this great tip from Cheyenne. Instead of using model cement to join those pesky Magic tracks, give some rubber cement (available from hardware and craft stores) a go. You can then build exible tracks the easy way.

WORK IN PROGRESS

Click to see the build log

For this months Work in Progress section we want to highlight one very special build. Not only are we highlighting a great modeller, but a talented artist with a great sense of humour. This build also shows that Tanks & Things isnt all about armour modelling. Every model kit type and modeller is welcome here at T&T. The build belongs to T&Ts artist laureate Mr Charles Wojtkiewkz (known as chukw on the forums). So sit back and prepare for some amazing model detailing, along with great artwork, the cast and crew of the Me-410 build, and a laugh or two along the way...
