THE TOGETHER CLUB
meet on Thursday 30th at the Convent 2.00 to 4.00 p.m.
Mr. Millar is giving a digital presentation
on the Suffolk Punch Horses at Hollesley Bay;
this is very interesting and we would welcome anyone
who would like to come along and boost the numbers.
RAGE: The next meeting is this coming Monday at 7.30pm and is run for
Yrs 7 and up. There will be Games and activities this week unless specified by
the rota! So please bring along your friends and there will be the usual food and
drink so please also bring 50p to help out. We look forward to seeing you.

CHRISTIAN AID UNITY SERVICE on Sunday 10th May at 6pm.

speaker on the work of Christian Aid. Please join us, all welcome.
CHRISTIAN AID HUNGER LUNCH FRIDAY 15th MAY
Noon - 1.30pm. Salvation Army, Cobbold Road, Felixstowe. Minimum
donation £2. All welcome at this friendly venue.
CHRISTIAN AID WEEK
I am seeking volunteers to help with the house-to-house collection for
Christian Aid Week (10th - 16th May). This year in common with the other
churches involved we will be using envelopes, so if you aren't able to be a
collector, it would also help if you can put some envelopes through peo-
ple's doors. Anyone can deliver envelopes (children can help too), but col-
lectors must be a minimum 16 years old.
This is an opportunity to do something of real help to poor communities in
the Third World, in a joint effort with our fellow Christians from other
churches. If you would like to help, or think you might but would like to
know more, please contact me, Doug Birchall, on Fxt 671217.
DURING THE FIRST WEEK OF MAY
the "Fraternal Cross" of the KSC which has been crossing the Country ,will
be coming to East Anglia. This Cross makes its journey at special times,
now being the 90th anniversary of the formation of the KSC .
Ipswich council will be receiving this Cross on Tuesday May 6th
and so far the arrangements made include being at
St. Pancras for the 12.15 Mass Thursday 7th
and passing it on to Lowestoft Council at our Noon Mass 8th.
We welcome all to take part in this prayerful exercise .
KSC GRAND NATIONAL DRAW.
You may have wondered why we had no winners or
even horses this year . The answer I am afraid that the all the counterfoils
from East Anglia were lost by the Post Office on their way to Glasgow .
Each council has been refunded the money sent on and we now have to deal
with the matter locally. If you have your tickets and would like a refund
please see John King or any KSC member and we will arrange this. Any
money not reclaimed will go to the KSC funds for charitable use.
