SUB TOPIC : ANIMALS SKILLS 1.1. to observe and recognise external features of animals. LESSON OUTCOMES : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to: 1. recognize and identify the external features of an animal 2. record the external features of animals in a table Moral value: Protect animals Cooperation Students learn to not hurt any animals which do not harm to us. Students show their care to the animals. Students cooperate with their peer to carry out their work during the activities. Students learn to help those who are weak in their work during the lesson. They are willing to share their ideas to do well in the activities.
Helping
Teaching aids Power Point Presentation, pictures, word cards, CD (song), worksheets. Previous knowledge Pupils have learnt and approached to the animals during their daily life. They have the ability to imagine the part that can be found on the animal body. Besides, they can also explore the features through their pet such as dog, cat , bird, and known more about.

Content
Teacher talks about animals domestic and wild animals. Pupils talk about their favorite animals. Pupils are asked to name some common animals that they familiar with. Pupils make the sound of some common animals.
Step 1
Introduce external features of some animals in zoo: elephant flamingo monkey rhinoceros snake tiger
10 minutes
Teacher shows the Power point presentation KAMALS DAY AT THE ZOO based on a pre written story . Pupils observe the animals and recognize their external features. Teacher paste word cards while telling the story.
MI : Verbal Linguistic
Step 2 10 minutes
Teacher divides pupils into 6 groups. Teacher provides picture of animal and a manila card for each group. Each group need to colour the animals and paste onto the manila card
They also asked to identify the external features for the given animal
Step 3
15 minutes
Teacher randomly select a few students. Ask the students to act as the animals shown secretly.
MI : Kinestetik
The other students will Moral try to guess the animals. If Value : the guess is correct, another Confident student will explain the external features of the animal.

Teacher gives the worksheets for pupils to complete. Teacher explains about the works or exercises. Teacher guides and assist the students who are weak in this topic. Students are allowed to use dictionary to find the words that they are not understand.
Recall the external features. Teacher plays the song. Students sings together with the song while moving their body as animals.
