SILVERSEAL Hydrogel Wound Dressings are exible, sterile, non-adherent hydrogel dressings that are 0.1cm thick and incorporate the antimicrobial properties of metallic silver coated ber.

The SILVERSEAL Hydrogel Wound Dressing is intended for the management of wounds and to provide an antimicrobial barrier. Topical application of SILVERSEAL Hydrogel Wound Dressing protects the wound area and the construction of SILVERSEAL Hydrogel Wound Dressing permits the passage of wound uid through the product to be absorbed by an overlying absorbent material. The silver provides eective protection of the dressing against microbial contamination. In vitro studies have shown*1 that the silver ber in SILVERSEAL Hydrogel Wound Dressing is eective in resisting the growth of bacteria.1

Directions for Use


The SILVERSEAL Hydrogel Wound Dressing should be applied directly to the wound bed after removal of the blue backing (if the wound is wet, also remove the clear plastic topper) then cover with a conventional dressing of choice. The SILVERSEAL Hydrogel Wound Dressing is designed to be left in contact with the wound for not longer than 7 days but may be changed as frequently as desired. Discard all opened but unused dressings. Do not attempt to re-sterilize.

Storage: Store SILVERSEAL Hydrogel Dressings in sealed packaging at room temperature. Avoid excessive heat or humidity.
