How to read your FTN?

"Deposits & Investments" details premiun received, premium allocations and fund switches, if any. "Deductions" include all charges deducted. "Premium charge" is the premium allocation charge and is deducted from the premiums received For unit linked plans, "Monthly Charges" comprises of Mortality charge, Administration charge, Accidental Death Benefit Charge (as applicable), Rider charge (as applicable), Risk Benefit Charge (as applicable) and any extra mortality charged (if any) as mentioned under the Policy. Other charges include Switch charge, Surrender charge, Withdrawal charge which is deducted on processing policy service transactions, subject to the conditions detailed in policy bond. S.TAX-1ST YR PREM" is the Service Tax deduction on the premium paid during the first policy year, deducted as per applicable rates.
