WHAT MAKES TRAINING WITH SUSAN WALLACE UNIQUE?

Secrets of Successful Inductions Closing your eyes and having a hypnotic induction script read to you does not create the hypnotic state. There are certain key procedures essential to enhance suggestibility beyond normal consciousness. Once Susan shows you how to master these techniques you will be able to hypnotise everyone quickly and easily. Whats more you wont need to read a script to do it.

A note from Susan Wallace

Cognitive & Behavioural Hypnosis (CBH) CBH skills are essential for the modern hypnotherapist who wants to empower clients through therapy. CBH helps clients to talk back to sabotaging thoughts and learn more adaptive thinking skills. CBH helps clients take greater control over their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Susan will show you how to work from a CBT approach without compromising the drama and expectancy that our clients expect from hypnotherapy. Welcome to Cognitive Hypnosis Academy. I am delighted that you are reading our prospectus and I hope it provides you with all the information you need to plan your training in professional hypnotherapy. Learning clinical and therapeutic hypnosis can be a life-changing experience. Our students discover the tremendous potential we all have for changing our lives by changing our thinking. Every year I see students embrace the concepts we teach. I watch as their confidence and self-belief soars to new heights. I witness them overcome personal limitations and help others achieve their goals. Every year we ask our students to bring a real-life challenge to the classroom so they can experience the effectiveness of good hypnotherapy and help them catapult their life into the direction they desire. If you would like to speak to me personally please feel free to call me. Im here to help.

Past Life Regression Do you believe you have lived before? Susan believes that it really doesnt matter what your own personal opinion is. What is important is this: If your client suddenly has an abreaction and gets absorbed in a past life experience, then you need the skills and training to effectively handle the abreaction and reorientate them to the here and now. Susan will teach you how to ensure your client gets maximum therapeutic benefit from the experience and emerges free from trauma and with new found skills.

Rapid & Instant Inductions Most hypnotherapists stick to old-fashioned relaxation techniques to create the hypnotic state. However, there are inductions that fire off a reorientation response instead of a relaxation response and they work extremely well. Whats more they allow you to put a person into hypnosis in less than ten minutes. Susan is a master of client centered non-verbal inductions, rapid inductions and instant inductions. She will also teach you how to ensure you client goes deeper into the experience of hypnosis each and every time they are hypnotised.

FOREWORD AND INTRODUCTION TO HYPNOSIS ACADEMY

Cognitive Hypnosis Academy is committed to teaching evidence-based hypnotherapy. Our psychological orientation comes from Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (CBT), positive psychology and dynamic psychotherapy. We teach techniques that are evidence based and proven to be effective from the world of clinical hypnotherapy and CBT. Every year we update our course materials. We include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, NLP techniques, Rapid Inductions, Conversational hypnosis, Past Life Regression, Parts Therapy, Regression, Inner Child therapy, Deep Memory therapy, Mirror therapy, Systematic Desensitisation, Breathing Re-training, Symptom Cycles and Patter Interruption techniques and so much more. Our hypnotherapy practitioners diploma has been assessed and validated by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and graduates are eligible for registration with the General Hypnotherapy Register, The British Institute of Hypnotherapy and many other professional bodies in the UK and abroad. All of our courses provide excellent training, tuition and materials and our work is underpinned with a deep sense of respect for our clients and their challenges. Learning hypnosis can be a life-changing experience as our students realise the tremendous potential of the human mind and tap into their vast internal resources.

Why does this course cover so much more than other courses on the market?
With so many courses to choose from it is hard to know which one might be right for you. Our view is simple. There are as many different hypnotic personalities as there are clients. So choosing the school that allows you to match your style to the suggestibility of each client makes sound sense. Some people respond best to permissive open-ended suggestions, others are mesmerized by the directness of stage hypnosis while others respond to a more Neo- Ericksonian response. Therefore, we teach you the full range of techniques so you can help all kinds of people experience hypnosis in their own way. Whats more we teach the techniques and interventions that have been proven effective from clinical studies so you can be confident in your interventions. We also work hard to keep our costs down so we can remain competitive and pass our savings on to you.

Hypnotherapy Training through Hypnosis

We teach hypnotherapy through the practical application of hypnosis. We encourage our students to work together on their own personal challenges. We use their issues as real-life case studies to demonstrate therapy in action. This give all of our students real experience of the complexities of the hypnotic state. By using our students own personal challenges as real-life case studies, our students gain hands-on experience in the power and effectiveness of hypnosis. They also get to experience trance states first hand. This approach helps our students to complete the course as better-balanced individuals unburdened by personal habits, limiting beliefs or a lack of confidence that might prevent them from being the best that they can be. We include challenges such as smoking cessation, weight reduction, confidence building, motivation, public speaking and stress management as standard plus whatever challenges they present during training. We can reframe the past, learn from experience, move on and embrace our future without fear and expectancy of failure. This is a recurring theme that runs throughout our courses.

Evidence of the effectiveness of hypnotherapy

Hypnosis Patients Twice As Likely To Quit Smoking

A Study of 71 smokers showed that after a two-year follow up, patients that quit with hypnosis were twice as likely to still be smoke-free than those who quit on their own.

Hypnosis to Quit Smoking is Most Effective Says Largest Study Ever: 3 Times Effectiveness of Patch and 15 Times Willpower.
Hypnosis is the most effective way of giving up smoking, according to the largest ever- scientific comparison of ways of breaking the habit. A meta- analysis, statistically combining results of more than 600 studies of 72,000 people from America and Europe to compare various methods of quitting.

We know that embarking upon a new career can be a difficult decision to make so we aim to make it as easy as possible. If at the end of day one of the Hypnosis Practitioner course you decide that training in hypnotherapy is not for you we will refund all fees paid including your deposit.

Case Studies

At the end of the Hypnosis Practitioner course students are able to commence their case studies. Students must complete 10 Case Studies as part of their training. Classroom sharing of experiences develops case formulation strategies and technical skill. Case studies also teach our students how to manage caseloads and build an ethical referral and follow-up system. They are then reviewed over the Diploma Course and used to contextualise the dynamic techniques and interventions we teach on the diploma modules. The average time spent on each case study is 2 hours preparation and research, a minimum of 2 hours with the client and then classroom discussion, analysis and technical breakdown and intervention development. From our perspective, we want to be sure that you are fully equipped with the technical skill, competence and relevant experience to start seeing paid clients. Your clients deserve the best, and for you? Remember: A confident therapist is a content and focused therapist.

Teaching someone how to hypnotise others is quite easy. However, instructing someone in how to best use hypnotic trance states to improve quality of life isnt quite so simple. There are as many different ways to treat people, as there are personalities. A hypnotherapist who can match their style to the clients resources will achieve hypnosis every time. A hypnotherapist who delivers on their promises should have no shortage of clients and very little advertising expenses as success speaks for itself. If you want to learn how to use hypnosis to get consistent results every time then Hypnosis Academys client philosophy of there is no such thing as failure only feedback will show you how. The proof of the pudding

Pictured above are two students who worked with each other on day 2 of the Hypnosis Practitioners course. Mike had a fear of polystyrene and here he is comfortable and at ease with some after experiencing hypnosis for the first time. This is how we work in the classroom. Everyone gets to experience hypnosis every day. By using this innovative approach, we provide the class with the insight and understanding that is necessary for them to be successful in their work from the moment they start. We treat smoking, weight problems, confidence, motivation and stress reduction in every group. Not so long ago we had a lady with a fear of cats. After class we brought her down to a local pet shop where she fell in love with a kitten and brought it home as a pet for her new son. Every class is a little different but the results are always the same. Hypnosis works and we like to test to ensure our client got the result they wanted.
