This specification complies with our environmental Ecotech Initiative to limit organic solvent emissions and certain potentially harmful substances such as isocyanates. For further information on Ecotech please contact International. Please be informed that International Paint will cease manufacture of Tar containing products from the 1st of March 2005. The main reason for concern however is that products containing coal tar, coal tar pitches, tar acids, petroleum tar and petroleum tar pitches are all potential carcinogens (cancer causing). Therefore, we propose an alternative system as above.
