With its LUMINESTRA EL, OSRAM has made a classic even better. This new baton luminaire is now supplied with a high-quality OSRAM ECG, which offers many advantages over the Conventional Control Gear1 (CCG) previously used. As soon as the luminaire is switched on, you notice its different:

the Electronic Control Gear ensures that it starts without flickering and operates in complete silence. Whats more, it offers energy savings of up to 30 % and helps the lamp to last even longer. In short, the new LUMINESTRA EL offers a new quality of light.

Versatile furniture luminaire the bestseller from OSRAM

On the outside this classic furniture luminaire looks just the same. The lowprofile design with the characteristic prismatic cover extending from corner to corner (35 % more light)2 means that the new LUMINESTRA EL provides excellent lighting in places where most luminaires simply cannot fit, in fact any place where space is tight, such as under kitchen cupboards and in display cabinets, bookcases and wardrobes. The new LUMINESTRA EL is supplied ready for connection complete with switch, mains cable and plug, and is equipped with a high-quality, easily replaceable LUMILUX INTERNA lamp (light colour 827). Thanks to their comprehensive accessories, LUMINESTRA EL furniture luminaires are not only extremely versatile, they can be easily linked together to form strip lighting if necessary, they can even be combined with HALONESTRA. But even that is not all. LUMINESTRA EL can of course be used for all the traditional applications in kitchens, cabinets and shelving systems. But because it is now controlled electronically, it is also ideal as a reading light or general work light. It is perfect wherever icker-free light is needed for ergonomic reasons.

To launch this new luminaire we are presenting it in particularly attractive packaging (with a seethrough window and non-tear Euro double tab) that shows how versatile the new LUMINESTRA EL is.
