Check all electrical appliances before leaving your homes to preclude fires. Use drapes or curtains in windows to keep your valuable things like appliances, jewels etc to be out of sight from the outside. Record description; make serial numbers of facilities, equipment like appliances for easy identification. Before sleeping at night, see to it that all doors and windows are properly secured.
