Welcome to the 6ET Reuseversity.

The first University in the World dedicated to the

sustainable reuse of everyday items. There are different levels of qualifications you can achieve at the 6ET Reuseversity. Your challenge is work your way through the qualifications using your knowledge of technological design and re-design alongside your ability to think creatively and act sustainably.

Challenge 1: To gain the qualification of Certificate in Sustainable Resource Reuseto achieve this award, the student must reuse a Small Scale Item (should be smaller than your social science book) destined for the rubbish bin. The item must be reused in a way that its original shape is not changed. The students idea for this qualification may be copied from an idea that already exists in the world. This item and its use must be presented to the Heads of the Reuseversity for acceptance or decline. All students ideas must be given a temporary patent to ensure other students do not copy their idea- first in first served. See Professor Tiffany for a patent application sheet.

Challenge 2: To gain the qualification of Diploma in Sustainable Reuseability- to achieve this award, the student must reuse a Small Scale Item(should be smaller than your social science book) destined for the rubbish bin. Challenge 3: To gain the qualification of Bachelor of Reuseology- to achieve this award, the student must reuse a Big Scale Item (should be bigger than your social science book) destined for the rubbish bin. The item can be reused in a way where its original shape may or may not be changed or altered. The students idea for this qualification may be copied from an idea that already exists in the world. This item and its use must be presented to the Heads of the Reuseversity for acceptance or decline. Reuseversity Six Ticks Scale:

ACCEPT
Brain- Thinking: Concept is well thought out with sustainability in mind. The design can be easily followed by someone else who would like to create your concept. There has been limited excess rubbish created or pollutants created. Limited money has to be spent on the design. Eyes- Visual: Concept looks appealing and could easily be used without looking out of place. Colour may be sustainably added to the design. Ears- Name: The title for your concept is catchy, encourages people to use it and may make reference to reusing or sustainability. The title is an original name. Nose- Smell: The concept has reused items that do not have a strong used

DECLINE

Comment

smell. Fingers- Feel: The concept is able to be handled safely without sharp edges or sticky or slimy residue. Mouth- Comment: The concept receives positive comments from at least 10 Southwell School staff members. This will be done through a display in the teachers resources.
