3) JOB SUMMARY: key responsibilities (2 / 3 lines) To ensure that all the Plumbing, drainage and sprinkler works are designed and delivered in accordance with the drawings, standards and specifications within the time frame agreed by the company.

FUNCTIONS: Management and Technical activities. Providing detailed and professional designs for Plumbing and drainage services to projects Developing and rationalizing Consultants designs to provide cost effective solutions to the project teams 3. Developing and managing the process of detailed and accurate shop drawings 4. Reviewing Plumbing works on a time to time basis to ensure that the works are delivered as per the plan. 5. Advising the supervisors on any corrective measures. 6. Providing leadership and guidance to other plumbing and drainage engineers 7. Providing alternative engineering options and cost analysis 8. Costing, assisting in monitoring project costs 9. Working with CAD technicians and providing assistance to Electrical & Mechanical Engineers to ensure seamless integration of plumbing services into designs and projects. 10. Ensuring installation and design works are in accordance with relevant authorities along with keep engineering standards up to date with the same. 11. Ensure design is buildable, cost efficient and sustainable

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. A relevant plumbers certificate will also be considered. 8 years post training experience in the plumbing Industry. Experience in working with multi million MEP Projects. Experience working on a range of building types to include commercial, mixed use, residential, high-rise etc Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures. Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Ability to analyze processes and make recommendations for improvements. Program planning and implementation skills.
