TS1: high expectations TS2: promotion of progression TS3: subject knowledge TS4: planning and teaching wellstructured lessons TS5: response to pupils strengths and needs TS6: use of assessment TS7: classroom management TS8: wider professional responsibilities Strengths/Further comments TS1 Mr Parker has demonstrated this in the way he met the students and outlined his class rules and his calm maneer in delivering his lessons. Because of the strong subject knowledge he demonstrated earlier in the lesson, students felt the need to produce good quality work within the lesson. TS3 Mr Parker was able to demonstrate this through his introduction of Balsamiq and making the link to design. He broke down the information into separate parts to enable students to understand the basic technical aspects.
Standard 1-8 ( for mentor or tutor use)

Targets/Areas for development TS6 I would have liked to see Mr Parker constantly assessing his students to see if they understood the task. There were 2 students who were not sure of what they had to do, but because he possibly spent too much time with the others.

TS6 I would perhaps like to see some peer assessment of the designs against the criteria that Mr Parker made. That could have solidified their knowledge about the design aspect of the lesson
