Thank you Class President Recall On Previous Lesson Class what we discussed last meeting? Students: We have discussed about adolescence period- the physical, psychological, and emotional changes they undergo; their traits, strengths and weaknesses.

To recall further our last topic, I have an activity. I will flash statements about adolescence period, read it twice and clap your hand thrice if the answer is right and shake your hand thrice if the answer is wrong. Class, are you ready? Students: Yes we are ready (The teacher will show statements using powerpoint presentation) 1. Adolescent is the stage of human development when children transform into adults (wrong=shake) What makes the statement false? Students will shake their hands

That was a good observation. What else? The song motivate us to have positive views (by believing in ourselves) in life even though life is full of obstacle because this will help us to be strong and be successful someday. But how can we develop a positive or sound outlook in life? C. Lesson Proper Introduction to the Lesson God created us with all the implements of survival: physical body, intellectual, instincts, intuitions, talents and skills. How we are going to use these and how we will develop them will determine the kind of life we have. Everyone has his/her own individual differences because we inherit different genes which carry our characteristics, because of these; we develop different

Outlook which is also called Philosophy in Life defined as a mental view or mental picture of things. It is the way we see life and the way we live life itself. It can be either negative or positive depending on the way you want to live it. Class, open your book in chapter 1 lesson 2 There are different factors that affects persons outlook in life. Please give the first factor Student______ Thank you. Traits and characteristic from our parents affect our outlook in life. For example, we inherited skin color from our parents or their heights or the good traits of our parents like talent which may affect our outlook in life Please give the second factor student______ Education and training which give us knowledge and ability in decision making. This will affect us to have more knowledge and see the life in different aspects. Please give the third factor student______ Experiences that we have come upon in life may be good or bad will affect us on how we look life. Please give the fourth factor student______ Religious Beliefs or by having faith in God we know that He will guide and bless us. It affects us when we are too dependent to the technology After knowing the factors that affect us let us know how to develop a positive outlook in life which will lead us to meaningful and worthwhile living These are the tips 1. Strengthen your faith in God, in yourself, in your family and in others. How can we do these? We can strengthen our faith in God by applying Christian principle of living, following Gods way. However, during the homily, the priest appealed to the people to increase their voluntary contributions so that the renovation of the church could be completed. You wanted to give to the project but your money was just enough for the things you planned to buy. What would you do? Justify your stand.

You wanted to cross the street but the pedestrian lane was far from where you are standing. There was no police officer in sight but you had always been a low abiding citizen, You believed that everybody should obey the law. What would you do? If a citizen is law-abiding, does he have a sound outlook in life? Why?

The movie was a suspense thriller and everybody was silently watching. Suddenly, somebody cried, Fire! Fire! If you were one of the moviegoers what would you do? Is it good to always remain calm in emergencies? Is this a manifestation of a sound outlook in life? Explain.
