Stackers PS series
Sandvik stackers effectively stockpile bulk materials in an efficient and orderly manner. Stationary or traveling, borne on rails or crawlers, they can be supplied in fixed, luffable or luffable-and-slewable boom designs, with capacities from 150 to 20 000 metric tons per hour (165 to 22 000 short tons per hour). The choice of design depends on factors such as the stacking method (Chevron, Windrow and Cone Shell) and size of the stockpile, the type of material, the required throughput and the demand for mobility. Tripper cars or tripper systems for transferring material from the yard conveyor to the stacker are considered part of the stacker.
This type of stacker is able to luff and slew the boom and designed to service stockpiles on both sides of the rails. Boom length can range from 10 to over 60 meter (33 to 198 ft).
PS100
PS200
Cantilevered type - simple design and used for light-duty applications with low migration of center of gravity.
PS300
Rocker type - to minimize migration of center of gravity in operation to allow for an economic rail gauge and to keep stockyard width at a maximum.
PS400
Luffable-only are used where the stockpile is required to be stacked from one side only, with little or no demand for blending. Boom length from 10 to over 60 meter (33 to 198 ft).
HS SERIES - MOVABLE TYPE
The standard range of movable stackers covers belt widths (650, 800, 1000, 1200 and 1400 mm / 26, 31.5, 39, 47, 55 in) each having different lengths up to 40 m (131 ft) for a typical capacity range of 300 to 2800 mtph (331 to 3086 stph).
HS SERIES - RADIAL TYPE
The standard range of radial stackers covers 3 belt widths (650, 800 and 1000 mm / 26, 31.5 and 39 in) each having 5 different lengths (20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 m / 66, 82, 98, 115 and 131 ft) for a typical capacity range of 200 to 1200 mtph (220 to 1323 stph).

Reclaimers PR series
Sandvik reclaimers are designed to reclaim bulk materials from stockpiles at mines, ports, steel plants, power stations, etc. in a quick, efficient and orderly way. They are available in several main types, including bucket wheel, scraper and drum-type reclaimers, and in many configurations and sizes, with capacities from 500 to 20 000 metric tons per hour (550 to 22 000 short tons per hour) and more. The choice of design depends on factors such as the size and shape of the stockpile, the type of material to be reclaimed, the required reclaiming rate and the need for blending or homogenization.
Designed to reclaim large volumes, with exact design tailored to suit the needs of the customer. Boom length range from 10 to over 60 meters (33 to over 198 ft). PR100 Pylon type - for use in low to medium bulk density and medium ore applications.
PR200
Rocker type - minimizes the migration of the center of gravity in operation to allow very high capacities.
PR300
For a more efficient blending purpose which can be improved by means of a dual bucket wheel design. Typically used for reclaiming material where homogenization is a primary requirement.
PR400
Good choice for small to medium capacities and where homogenization is not a priority. Reclaims the material from the surface in a longitudinal direction.
PR500
Front-acting - clearly superior to those that reclaim the material longitudinally, because they blend the material effectively during reclamation.
PR600
Is the optimal choice if good homogenizing is important. Alternative to the PR300, it comprises a long rotating drum fitted with a large number of reclaiming buckets.

Stacker/Reclaimers PD series
Sandvik stacker/reclaimers come in two main types: bucket-wheel models for alternate stacking and reclaiming, and circular units, which normally stack and reclaim the material alternately but can be designed to do so simultaneously if required. Our bucket-wheel models, normally supplied complete with tripper cars, are compact and economical for longitudinal stockyards where simultaneous stacking and reclaiming is not required and where there can be large variations in the demand for stacking and reclaiming capacities. Our standard circular units, which build a ring-shaped stockpile and are normally housed inside a covered dome due to environmental concerns, both continually stack the stockpile at one end of the ring and reclaim the material simultaneously from the other end. All of our units are custom built for each individual application, with the customers needs in mind.
Boom-type bucket wheel stacker/reclaimers can be supplied in many configurations and sizes, with booms up to 60 meter (197 ft) in length and stacking/reclaiming capacities up to 20 000 metric tons per hour (22 000 short tons per hour) per hour. Tripper cars for transferring material from the yard conveyor to the stacker/reclaimer are considered part of the machine.
PD100
The pylon-type design represents consistent performance and combines a good ratio between machine weight and capacity. Very popular in low to medium bulk density applications and medium ore applications.
PD200
The rocker type is a heavy-duty machine that minimizes the migration of the center of gravity in operation to allow very high capacities and an economic rail gauge, and to maximize the usable width of the stockyard.
PD300
Since circular stacker/reclaimers are normally housed inside a dome, the pile is built up automatically at one end by means of a slewing and luffing stacker using the cone-shell stacking method for 360 degrees of rotation, and reclaimed at the other end by a radial scrapertype reclaimer. The latter reclaims the material layer by layer from the pile cross-section and conveys it into a central hopper located under the central column.

Shiploaders PL series
Sandvik linear gantry and quadrant bridge-type shiploaders are constructed in proven, eco-friendly designs and a wide range of sizes to service vessels from 5000 to 250 000 dwt. Central to the Sandvik philosophy is minimal disruption of the port during installation of the shiploader and its supporting equipment. Our process for off-site construction, assembly, testing, commissioning and heavy-load transportation is highly advanced, resulting in installation of fully operational shiploaders with capacities up to 12 000 metric tons per hour (13 200 short tons per hour) in just a few days. The most popular types PL100 - PL400 are shown here.
Rail-borne gantry mounted, slewing and shuttling boom shiploaders, which also have a certain luffing function, are designed to cover all hatches of the vessel through a combination of luffing, slewing and longitudinal travel. To enable vessels to berth, they are slewed parallel to the quay. Like all Sandvik shiploaders, they have advanced PLC control systems and can be tailored precisely to protect the environment.
PL300
Rail-borne gantry mounted, telescopic-boom shiploaders, which have a steep luffing function, are designed to cover all hatches of the vessel through a combination of luffing, telescoping outreach and longitudinal travel. To enable vessels to berth, the boom is simply raised out of the way.
PL400
Radial quadrant, shuttle-boom shiploaders have a slewing bridge that is pivoted on the inside and guided on a curved rail on the outside. The shuttling conveyor boom that also has a certain luffing function is located on the bridge. This enables full hatch coverage through a combination of luffing, slewing and variable outreach.

Shipunloaders PU series
Sandvik ship unloaders of the linear gantry and level-luffing types are constructed in proven designs and a wide range of sizes to service vessels from 5000 to 250 000 dwt. Focusing on grab technology, they offer efficient, rational solutions to demands for quayside flexibility and are the perfect rigs for unloading materials with different bulk densities. As with continuous ship unloaders, they can be constructed, assembled, tested and commissioned off-site if necessary, then shipped to site and installed with minimal disruption to port activities.
PU100
The Sandvik rail-borne gantry mounted, grabtype ship unloader is one of the most flexible designs for unloading bulk cargo at rates of up to 2500 metric tons per hour (2800 short tons per hour) per hour. Normally equipped with grab suspended from a trolley that runs to and from along a transverse bridge, they typically discharge the material into a hopper, which then meters it on to a conveyor on the wharf or pier. However, various options are available, with manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic controls
PU200
Sandvik level-luffing ship unloaders (so called because they can maintain the load at a constant height automatically even while the jib is raised or lowered) have a wide slewing angle, a steep luffing angle and a powerful hoisting function for their size and weight. With unloading capacities of up to 800 metric tons per hour (880 short tons per hour), they can be either stationary or rail-borne, and are one of the most flexible designs for unloading bulk cargo. Normally equipped with a grab, they can be supplied with various options, including manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic controls.

Spreaders PA series
Sandvik supplies spreaders up to 350 meter (1150 ft) in length. The purpose of the spreader is to receive overburden from the haulage conveyor and dump it in an orderly and efficient manner. Rail or track-mounted tripper cars, usually part of the spreader package, are used to transfer the material from the haulage conveyor to the spreader.
PA100 - PA200
Sandvik spreaders are usually tailor-made for the application and built to order. The PA100 defines the compact-type spreader and the PA200 is known as the C-frame type spreader. Normally track-mounted, they are of rational, modular construction and equipped with state-of-the-art control systems.
PA300
The Sandvik mobile Cross Pit Spreader (CPS) system, developed for special applications, is over 350 meter (1150 ft) in length. An incorporated bucket wheel excavator loads the waste material to the boom of the cross pit spreader, which conveys the waste material across the open pit and discharges it over the designated dumping zone.
