Mozy has recognized the growing number of customers seeking a universal platform for procuring and managing SaaS applications. Partnering with Comcast, Mozy is now available to organizations leveraging their Upware Marketplace. To simplify the customer experience Mozy and Comcast have worked together to ensure that all commercially effecting activities are managed via the Marketplace, but allowing the customer to manage the various configuration functions and tasks via the standard Mozy Admin Console.

Click on MyApps. Hover the mouse over the Mozy icon. When the management options appear, click on Assign Users. In the Apps column, select the MozyPro Online Backup entry. In the Assign Users column, check the box next to the user you want assign to MozyPro. When you are done assigning MozyPro to end users, click the Save Changes button on the right side of the screen.
Once the Save Changes button is clicked, the Marketplace automatically creates the user(s) in the Mozy system and assigns each user a license key and 2GB of storage. The end user will receive two emails from the Marketplace. One informs them that the Account Owner has given them access to MozyPro. The second one includes links to the both the Mac and Windows client installers and a copy of the users MozyPro license key. At this point the user should download and run the appropriate installer. During the installation process the user will be prompted to enter the license key they received, which they can cut and paste from the email. NOTE: The default storage amount can only be changed after the user has installed the client on their computer. See the section on increasing quota for more details.
Downgrading
To downgrade the storage in their account the customer must first have enough unassigned quota available to be removed from their account. Once that prerequisite is met, then they can use the AppDirect Marketplace to select a smaller package and when they complete the order in AppDirect, the requisite amount of quota will be removed from their account.
Deleting a User
Customers that have purchased Mozy through the AppDirect portal have two options for deleting a user. They can delete them from just the Mozy service or they can remove them from AppDirect and all applications they have been assigned through the AppDirect Marketplace. To remove the Mozy service, but leave the user in the Marketplace portal, the account owner would log in to the Marketplace and: Click on Account > Users. In the Apps column, click the Assign Apps link in the row of the appropriate user. In the Assign Apps column, uncheck the box next to the MozyPro product. Click on Save Changes. This will remove the Mozy service from the user in the Marketplace and also delete that users account in the Mozy service simultaneously. There is no way to undelete a user in the Mozy service. To remove the user from the Mozy service as well as the Marketplace, the account owner would first have to un-assign all their assigned apps and then delete the user. User deletion occurs in the Comcast Business portal.
