cage system= The cages are constructed and designed in a specific way to ensure an absolute microparticle free
inner environment. This generally includes a cage bottom, a cage top (with a food hopper and water bottle holder incorporated) and a filter lid. It is also designed to allow maximum comfort of the animal and to provide a secure, chew proof environment. An external ventilation unit supplies the cages with fresh HEPA-filtered air which passes through the filter lids. The ventilation-system mostly consists of two tubes for ingoing and outgoing air. Live loads for poultry=
An apparatus and method for loading live poultry into cages for shipment to a processing station. The system comprises a trailer having an assembly and movement station to accept the deposit of live poultry. After deposit, the poultry moves by conveyor belt to a drop chute where the poultry is weighed in batches at a weighing station, and thence each weighed batch is in-turn deposited upon another conveyor at a conveying station to be moved to discrete cages at the cage loading station. The poultry is loaded by batches into individual cages arranged in stocked arrays. After each batch is loaded into cages thereby filling all cages of the stacked array, the cage array is automatically moved to a cage deployment station to be subsequently shipped to a processing plant.

Automatic feeding system for poultry house = consists of a driving device, a hopper, a conveying pipe, an auger, trays, a suspension lifting device, an anti-perching device and a feed sensor. The main function of the system is to convey the feed in the hopper into each tray to ensure the eating of meat chickens and automatical control the conveying opening and closing of the motor by a feed sensor to achieve the aim of automatic feeding

8. There is no doubt that insulation is of utmost importance in maintaining a good climate in poultry houses. Regardless of whether it is summer or winter, insulation helps to reduce costs and improve bird performance. But what material, and how much of it, should be used?

9. Resistance (of the materials used as inner surface of walls and ceiling or roofs) to moisture combined with the ability of the total component to dry is an important consideration. *(vezi si primul paragraf)

Poultry manure, properly handled, is the most valuable of all manures produced by livestock. It

has historically been used as a source of plant nutrients and as a soil amendment. However, in areas of intense poultry production, overfertilization of pasture land with poultry manure occurs. The result is suspected ground water and surface water problems as excess nutrients run off the land or leach into ground water supplies. To obtain maximum economic value of plant nutrients in poultry manure and to protect our water supplies from excessive nutrient runoff or leaching, poultry manure should be applied to match nutrient needs of crops.
