Organizations, private and public, are under pressures forcing them to respond quickly to change and to be innovative in the way they operate. This drives them to be more agile and to make frequent and quick strategic, tactical, and operational decisions --- decisions that often require considerable amounts of relevant data, information and knowledge. Processing these information assets, in the framework of the needed decisions, is what business intelligence is all about. This course addresses BI solutions which deliver computerized support for managerial decision making.
