Poultry Meat & Egg Output up Three Per Cent

Agricultural output increased by 5.5 per cent, mainly due to increases in rice, corn and sugarcane production. Poultry meat and egg production was up more than three per cent, pig meat by one per cent and fishery output was down three per cent. Agriculture Secretary Proceso J. Alcala has credited rice and corn for the expansion of the farm sector by 5.48 per cent in the first semester, according to Manila Bulletin. Palay (rice) yielded 7.58 million metric tons (MMT) and corn notched 3.31MMT to increase the crops sub-sector's growth to 11.1 per cent. This sub-sector contributed 51.8 per cent in total agricultural output. The livestock and poultry sub-sectors, which grew by 0.85 per cent and 3.6 per cent, respectively, also added modestly to the gain of the first half of 2011. Fisheries dipped by 2.9 per cent, as commercial and municipal fish catch slid during the semester. The gross value of agricultural output amounted to 706.4 billion pesos (PHP) at current prices, about 16 per cent higher than last year's level. Among major crops, sugarcane made a full recovery from the effects of a dry spell last year, and grew by 75.6 per cent. The crops sub-sector grossed PHP411.8 billion at current prices, 31.1 per cent more than last year. Livestock, which accounted for 15.3 per cent of total agricultural production, registered a 0.85 per cent rise in output this year. Hog output went up by one per cent. Gross value was placed at PHP103.1 billion at current prices, 1.6 per cent lower than last year. The poultry sub-sector grew by 3.6 per cent, grossing PHP77.8 billion. Production of chicken grew by 3.8 per cent, while chicken eggs increased by 3.5 per cent. The sub-sector contributed 13.4 per cent to total agricultural production. Manila Bulletin reports that the fisheries sub-sector which had a share of 19.6 per cent to total agricultural production dipped by 2.9 per cent during the first semester, as commercial and municipal fish catch decreased by 15.6 per cent and 2.7 per cent, respectively. Bumaba ang Agricultural output ng Pilipinas sa taong ito mula sa 5.5% ay nagging 3% na lamang sa meat and egg production. Ang pig production ay bumaba ng 1% habang ang Fishery ay bumaba naman ng 3% ayon sa agriculture secretary na si Proceso Alcara ay nag-sabi sa malawakang ekspansyon ng bigas at mais upang magkaroon ng maraming suplay ang mga bahay kalakal pinalawak nila ito ng 5.48%. Samantala ang palay naman ay tumaas ng 7.58 milyon supay dahil sa ginawang programa ng gobyerno at masasabi naman nating hindi gaanong bumaba ang ntas ng agricultural sa Pilipinas. Maraming ginawang programa ang pamahalaan para mapantayan ang nakaraang antas Agrikultural kagaya na lang saprodukto ng tubo, ito ay naka-ahon mula sa mababang antas dahil sa nangyaring dry spells noong nakaraang taon ito ay tumaas ng 75.6%. Ang gobyerno aygumawa ng makabagong paraan upang ang ating agrikultural ay tumaas dahil sa mga nangyaring kalamidad lalo na sa nangyaring mga kalamidad lalong-lalo na ang El-Nino phenomenon sa ating bansa. Dahil sa mga naganap na mga ito bumaba an gating livestock at suplay ng mga produkto sa ibang bansa kaya nga bumaba ang ating kita sa panahong ito mapa-Agrikultural man o sa mga produktong pang-dagat. Kaya tayo ay maging Masaya kasi ginawang ating gobyerno ang mga paraan sa pagresulba ng ating mga economic rates.

Sa modernong panahon ngayon hindi na nahihirapang ang mga mamamayan sa pakikipag-talastasan sa kanilang mahal sa buhay, sa lahat ng panig ng mundo dahil sa tulong ng modernong teknolohiya na madaling gamitin at makakamura pa, dahil sa mga sulit na offer at mga promos ng ibat-ibang kompanya. Ang pag-export ng coconut oil ng Pilipinas ay bumaba ng 38.7% noong 2011 dahil sa kakulangan at gipit na suplay ng kopra. Ngunit noong Disyembre ay tumaas ito ng 2.7% na may 74,500 tonelada ng coconut oil, ayon sa United Coconut Associations of the Philippines o UCAP. Ang shipment noong nakaraang taon ay umabot lamang ng 823,381 tonelada kumpara noong 2010 na umabot sa 1.34 milyon tonelada, halos 900,000 tonelada ang pagbaba ng pag-export nito. Sinisisi naman ng UCAP ang mga nagdaang mga kalamidad na nagresulta sa pagkaubos ng coconut tree na siyang pangunahing suplay sa produksyon ng coconut oil. Ang coconut oil na siyang ginagamit sa pagluluto ng pagkain, detergents at biofuels ay ang isa sa mga mayor na produkto ng ating bansa sa pag-iexport.

Isang malaking kawalan ang pagkaubos ng suplay ng kopra at mga coconut trees sa produksyon ng coconut oil sa ating bansa na isa sa mga mayor na produktong ini-export ng ating bansa. At isa sa mga dahilan ng pagkasira ng mga ito ay ang mga nagdaang mga kalamidad sa ating bansa katulad ng pananalasa ng mga bagyo. Kaya ang resulta nito ay pagbaba ng demand ng coconut oil sa pag-eexport sa ibang bansa. Kaya nagpapakita ang sitwasyon na ito na mahalaga ang dami ng suplay sa produksyon ng isang produkto at naapektuhan nito ng salik na di-presyo katulad ng mga pagdaan ng mga kalamidad at mga bagyo
