Business Consultant/ Senior Business Consultant

No. of Vacancies : 1 Job Description / Responsibility
Reporting: Group Manager Major Responsibilities:

Assess and analyze selected sectors to identify growth opportunities and underlying problems impeding growth Establish linkages with the key players in the market Formulate strategies to develop service markets Prioritize interventions that can have a high impact Provide inputs to the Monitoring & Evaluation system Maintain contacts with key stakeholders to increase synergies Prepare periodic progress reports and communication materials for the project Work in a team to develop and implement innovative solutions to ensure sustainable growth of the sectors.

Educational Requirements
Preferably a Business or Economics graduate. However people from other disciplines with strong analytical skill and creative ingenuity are also encouraged to apply.

Additional Job Requirements

Good understanding of how different business sectors operate in Bangladesh. Good communication and negotiation skills (both English and Bangla). Willing to travel extensively within Bangladesh. Able to make informed decisions and work under pressure. Results oriented and a team player. Familiar with research methods. Work Experience: Business Consultant is an entry-level position. However, 1 to 2 years private sector experience will be an added advantage. For Senior Business Consultant positions, 2 years experience in a related field is mandatory.
