Set induction (5 minutes)

Picture cards of 7 animals: Cat, dog, elephant, cow, horse, goat, tiger.

1.The teacher shows the picture cards of animals to the pupils. 2.The pupils look at the picture cards. 3.The teacher says/pronounce the names of the animals and asks pupils to repeat after her. 4.The pupils follow the teachers pronounciation.

Presentation Step 1 (10 minutes)

Name of the 7 animals written on word card: Cat, dog, elephant, cow, horse, goat, tiger.

1. The teacher reads aloud the names. (2x for each name). 2. The pupils listen attentively to the teacher pronounciation. 3. The teacher reads aloud these names and asks the class to repeat what he/she has said. 4. The whole class repeats after the teacher.
