Why study Psychology


Psychologists investigate why we do things, how we do them and how we relate to others as well as to the world at large. Psychologists study people at all stages in their lives from birth to old age assessing how people perceive, how they think and use ideas, how they vary in intelligence and personality and how they are influenced by particular environments such as work, school and family.

Careers
A holder of a Degree in Psychology can have a career in industry, commerce, education, health and social services, and consulting - on all aspects of human relations.

Aims
The aim of this Degree is to investigate why we do things, how we do them and how we relate to others as well as to the world at large. As such, the course involves the study of people at all stages in their lives from birth to old age, assessing how people perceive, how they think and use ideas, how they vary in intelligence and personality and how they are influenced by particular environments such as work, school and family.

Year 2
1. Social Psychology 2. Human Resource Management 3. Computers 4. Reserch Methodology 5. Abnormal Psychology 6. Behavioral Studies

Year 3
1. Cognitive Psychology 2. Abnormal Psychology 3. Public Relations 4. Work Psychology 5. Personality Psychology 6. Project On successful completion of Year 1, students are awarded the Diploma in Psychology (DPSY). On successful completion of Year 2, the Advanced Diploma in Psychology (ADPSY) is awarded. Finally, on successful completion of Year 3, students are awarded the Bachelor in Psychology (BAPSY).

Date of Commencement

Students can apply for admission and commence their studies anytime throughout the year.

Examination Dates

Language
English language The Institute reserves the right to change the fees, syllabus and regulations. Students re-sitting or re-taking a course or changing their centre of study assume full risk of such changes and of any additional fees applicable at the time.

Exams are held at approved Overseas Examination Centres EVERY JUNE and JANUARY. Students are NOT allowed to sit for the exams before the lapse of 3 months from the date of registration into the program. Students wishing to enter for the examinations MUST complete an examination entry form and send it to the Institute accompanied with the appropriate examination fees, at least TWO MONTHS prior to the examination dates.
