Health Teaching Plan Goal: To address wide range of concerns regarding hypertension, as the most prevalent heath concern

of SSS employees, for the promotion and prevention of further incapacitating disease Objective: At the end of 1 hour nursing intervention, participants/SSS employees will be able to acquire and carry out knowledge gained from educational activities in order to promote and sustain positive changes in health behaviors Specific Learning Objective At the end of nursing intervention; Knowledge: The employees will be educated about vital information regarding hypertension -Definition of hypertension -Multifactorial causes of hypertension -Systemic effect of hypertension -complications brought about by hypertension Discussion: 2 student nurses will define hypertension based from acquired knowledge and will ask participation of employees by giving the definition in their own cues -Visual Aids / Pamphlets -Man power-2 student nurses February 10, 2010; 3:003:10pm Learning Content Methodology / Strategies Resources Time Frame Evaluation
