OBJETIVO (S): Describir, analizar y aplicar los mtodos y criterios utilizados en la actualidad para el diseo geotcnico de tneles en suelos y macizos rocosos. CONTENIDO SINTTICO: 1. Introduccin. 2. Diseo de tneles en suelos. 3. Diseo de tneles en roca. 4. Conceptos bsicos del mtodo de elementos finitos, aplicado al tneleo. 5. Mtodo austraco de tneleo. 6. Seguimiento geotcnico de tneleo. 7. Ejemplo de diseo. 8. Trabajo de investigacin. MODALIDADES DE CONDUCCIN DEL PROCESO DE ENSEANZA-APRENDIZAJE: Curso terico-prctico con exposicin del profesor, participacin del alumno, presentacin de audiovisuales y entrega de tareas y trabajos. MODALIDADES DE EVALUACIN: Evaluaciones peridicas: Al menos dos evaluaciones peridicas consistentes en la resolucin escrita de problemas y preguntas conceptuales. Tareas y trabajos. Evaluacin terminal: Consistente en la resolucin escrita de problemas y preguntas conceptuales. Admite evaluacin de recuperacin; no requiere inscripcin previa.
