Introduction

A. The key purpose of the study The key objective of this report is to define perception of quality by asking open ended questions to respondents. B. Possible outcomes From this study the possible outcomes are that what people think about when the word Quality comes to their mind. As this study is based on questioning to respondent, different types of definition of quality can be found.

Research Design
A. What is the reason behind the open ended Question? As in other survey modes, the questionnaire has an extremely important role in the success of a survey. It influences several aspects of data quality, varying from non-response, sampling, and coverage errors, to measurement errors. Badly worded questions or poor visual design may deter respondents from carefully answering individual questions, therefore increasing item nonresponse. open- ended questions allow the respondent to express an opinion without being influenced by the researcher. This has several consequences for the quality of survey data. The advantages of the open-ended questions include the possibility of discovering the responses that individuals give spontaneously, and thus avoiding the bias that may r e s u l t from suggesting responses to individuals, a b i a s which m a y o c c u r i n the case of close-ended questions. However, open-ended questions also have disadvantages in comparison to close- ended, such as the need for extensive coding and larger item non-response.

B. Explain and Justify aforementioned Topics: Depth of respondents participation: I had conducted my survey in my office within my colleague so all of my respondents were in formal outlook. Survey place was Banani. During the lunch time I had conducted that survey. Basically on lunch period I did this survey. My respondents live in Banani, Uttara, Dhanmondi and Mirpur. During lunch time we became free from our work for that I picked that time. Effort Giving Asking Question: Normally we have a very friendly environment in my office. My respondents were comfortable with me during this survey. I did not face any challenge during my research time.

Findings:
Findings are the major part for a research. My respondents give their opinion about quality. Those are:
Quality is the customers' perception of the value of the suppliers' work output. The word "Quality" represents the properties of products and/or services that are valued by the consumer. Quality is a momentary perception that occurs when something in our environment interacts with us, in the pre-intellectual awareness that comes before rational thought takes over and begins establishing order. Judgment of the resulting order is then reported as good or bad quality value. Definition of Quality is way off from the traditional concept of Quality. My definition of Quality is: "Reducing the variation around the target".

A product or process that is Reliable, and that performs its intended function is said to be a quality product.

Conclusion:
In manufacturing, a measure of excellence or a state of being free from defects, deficiencies and significant variations. It is brought about by strict and consistent commitment to certain standards that achieve uniformity of a product in order to satisfy specific customer or user requirements. If an automobile company finds a defect in one of their cars and makes a product recall, customer reliability and therefore production will decrease because trust will be lost in the car's quality. For me after this research, there are two forms of quality, and therefore two definitions and two forms of measurement. 1. OBJECTIVE quality is the degree of compliance of a process or its outcome with a predetermined set of criteria, which are presumed essential to the ultimate value it provides. Example: proper formulation of a medication. 2. SUBJECTIVE quality is the level of perceived value reported by the person who benefits from a process or its outcome. It may subsume various intermediate quality measures, both objective and subjective. Example: pain relief provided by a medication.
