dos Santos 21 February 2013 Living on Minimum Wage An old cycled myth says that money grows on trees; but does it grow on everyones trees? Issues of rich people getting richer and poor people getting poorer have been arising for many years now. People say that money is the root of all evil when in actuality not having money can cause just as much evil. This is why living on minimum wage is virtually impossible. Due to the fact that: you cant pay your bills, you miss out on opportunities to use your money to make money, and lastly you cant go to college. These are the difficulties of living on minimum wage. Paying bills has been every financially struggling persons nightmare for many years. People find it hard to keep up with payments when they have little money to keep their lives going at a steady pace. Studies shows that people who live their lives Pay check to pay check typically live shorter lived then those who have the ability to live comfortable with their everyday lives. These are the things face as financially unstable people. Secondly, smart people know that having money makes money. People who have money understand the concept in investing their money so that their money can increase while their virtually asleep. People who struggle with money or are on minimum wage dont have their opportunity to have money increase at a rapid rate without them working for it. This could be looked at as unfair to those people because the amount of labor people put in at their minimum

Doe 2 wage jobs versus the ins office jobs that fortune 500 employees have. This is another reason why it is difficult to live on minimum wage. Lastly, everyone knows that education is the key to success, but how can people engage in the amount of success that others have if they dont have the funds to get there. College tuitions are constantly going up every year which makes it harder for us students to pay for it. If students and parents cant pay for college then that deprives them of the opportunities to make money and automatically puts them in the category of living a minimum wage life style. This is the mostly important reason why its very hard to live on minimum wage. In conclusion, rich people are constantly getting richer and poor people are constantly getting poorer and because people are on minimum wage it makes them harder to live. Due to the fact that: you cant pay your bills, you miss out on opportunities to use your money to make money, and lastly you cant go to college. Living on minimum wage is not the way to go in this day in age.
