Get-Offs In this drill, we as D linemen need to get off the line of scrimmage and get penetration on the O line. In order to be effective we need to practice the muscular reflex using visual stimulation. You will need a second person to be your ball snapper and use a shirt or towel as an aiming point to use as your QB. The QB depth should be 5-7 yards. Work each Hand technique 4-6 times from each direction. This can benefit your conditioning as well.

Gap Drill This drill will benefit your ability to maintain your gap responsibility. We are a one gap defense; we will use a one gap drill. This helps us to defeat the zone blocking schemes that are widely used in college football. This drill you will need a second person as an O lineman.
