All-compassionate, the All-
merciful.

falah
In the name of Allah, from
whom I hope for nothing but
bounty,
` wa l akhsh ill `adlah
I fear nothing but justice,
` _ wa l a`tamidu ill qawlah
I rely upon nothing but His
word,
` _ _ _ wa l umsiku ill biablih
and I cling to nothing but
His Rope.

In You do I seek sanctuary
O Possessor of pardon and
good pleasure
_ _ mina alulmi wal`udwni
from wrong and enmity,
_ _ _ wa min ghiyari alzzamni
from the vicissitudes of time
` _ wa tawturi al-azni
from recurrence of sorrows,
_ wa awriqi aladathni
from the striking of mishaps,
_ _ _ ' ` ' _ '
wa min inqi'i almuddati
qabla altta'ahhubi
wal`uddati
and from the expiration of
the term before preparation
and readiness.

wa iyyka astarshidu lim
fhi alalu wal-ilu
From You do I seek guidance
to that wherein is
righteousness and setting
aright.

wa bika asta`nu fm
yaqtarinu bih alnnaju
wal-inju
From You do I seek help in
that which is linked to
success and favorable
response.

wa iyyka arghabu f libsi
al`fiyati wa tammih
From You do I desire for the
garment of wellbeing and its
completion,
' _ _
wa shumli alssalmati wa
dawmih
and the covering of health
and its permanence.
` _ _

wa a`dhu bika y rabbi
min hamazti alshshayni
I seek refuge in You, O my
Lord, from the evil
suggestions of the devils.

wa atarizu bisulnika min
jawri alssalni
I seek protection in Your
sovereignty from the
injustice of the sovereigns.

fataqabbal m kna min
alt wa awm
So, (please) accept my past
prayers and fasting,

waj`al ghad wa m
ba`dah afala min s`at
wa yawm
make my morrow and what
is after it better than my

for You are Allah, the Best
Guardian,

wa anta aramu
alrrimna
and You are the most
Merciful of all those who
show mercy.

allhumma inn abra'u
ilayka f yawm hdh
O Allah, I repudiate, before
You on this day of mine

wa m ba`dah mina al-
di
and on all Sundays that
follow it,
_ _ _ mina alshshirki wal-ildi
polytheism and atheism.
` _ _ wa ukhliu laka du`'
I devote my supplication
sincerely to You,
_ _ ' ta`arruan lil-ijbati
addressing myself to Your
response.
` _ wa uqmu `al `atika
I observe the acts of
obedience to You
_ _ raj'an lil-ithbati
for hope of gaining Your
rewards.

faalli `al muammadin
khayri khalqika
So, (please) bless
Muammad, the best of Your
creation
' _ aldd` il aqqika
and the caller to Your truth,

wa a`izzan bi`izzika
alladh l yumu
and fortify me with Your
almightiness, which is
invulnerable,

wafan bi`aynika allat l
tanmu
protect me with Your Eye,
which never sleeps,

wakhtim bil-inqi`i ilayka

and seal my affair by acting
devoutly to You
_ _ wa bilmaghfirati `umr
and my life with forgiveness!

Surely, You are the All-
forgiving, the All-
compassionate!

form of Ziyrah addressed to Imam `Al Amr al-Mu'minn (`a) on Sundays, which is dedicated to him:

alnnabawiyyati
Peace be upon the Prophetic Tree

walddawati alhshimiyyati
almui'ati
and the Hshemite plant that is
luminous,

almuthmirati bilnnubuwwati
fruitful of Prophethood,
_ _
almniqati bil-immati
and elegant with Imamate.

wa `al aj`ayka dama wa
nin
And [peace be] upon your two
grave-fellows; Adam and Noah,

`alayhim alssalmu
peace be upon both of them.

ahli baytika
Peace be upon you and upon your
Household,

alayyibna alhirna
the pure and immaculate.

almal'ikati almudiqna bika
Peace be upon you and upon the
angels surrounding you

and encompassing your tomb.

O my master, O Commander of the
Believers!

Today is Sunday,

wa huwa yawmuka wa
bismika
which is your day and carrying
your name,

wa an ayfuka fhi wa
jruka
and, on this day, I am your guest
and in your vicinity;
` _ `
fa-aifn y mawlya wa
ajirn
therefore, my master, receive me
as your guest and neighbor.

fa'innaka karmun tuibbu
aliyfata
Surely, you are generous and
hospitable
_
wa ma'mrun bil-ijrati
and you are commanded to treat
your neighbors hospitably.

faf`al m raghibtu ilayka fhi
So, (please) do to me that which I
desire from you

wa rajawtuh minka
and I hope you to do,

bimanzilatika wa li baytika
`inda allhi
[I ask you] in the name of your
and your Households standing

I am a believer of you

and I am carrying out that with
which your father and his
successor has come patiently;

peace be upon both of them.

I now beseech you by my belief in

ill alaqtin bitadq lahum
to add me up with my belief in
both of them

so that I will be delighted.

So, testify to me that I am totally
loyal to you

We are loyal to and believers in

and to that which his successor
(`a) has carried to us, are

sublime rank

so that we will enjoy the good

In the name of Allah the Beneficent the
Merciful.
Praise is for Allah for His tolerance and His
giving respite and Praise is for Allah and I am
certain that my sins are great but in front of
Your forgiveness, it is insignificant. And
Glorification is for Him who has erected the
skies without any pillars and created Heavens
without any passage of time and created the
creatures from the rear and without any
support.
And there is no Lord except Allah who
frightens those who disobey and exceed the
limits and scares who are firm on
disobedience and arrogant on worship and as
He is aware of the evil consequence He has
deputed His Proof. Thus He accepts the
excuses of those who are strayed in their

ignorance and deviation.

And Allah is Great, He is Generous and
Merciful. Whose unlimited favours and
excessive Mercy has no limits which He has
bestowed on His Creatures nor is there any
boundary for the power which He has on the
Creatures. O Allah bestow such blessings on
Mohammad and his progeny as You had
bestowed on Ibrahim and the progeny of
Ibrahim. Indeed You deserve the praise and
magnanimity.
O Allah I call upon You like a sinner whose
sins have destroyed him by narrowing his
path and there is no hope and respite except
You, nor anyone more merciful than You to
listen to his complaints, nor a support better
than You. You send the bounties even before
the commencement of merit, and have
bestowed favours on those who were entitled
for it.
Neither miserliness makes You rich or strong
nor does the question of those who beseech
You decrease Your Munificence. You have
taken the responsibility of sustaining the
creatures so that You can bestow Your Grace
and Mercy upon them. O Allah! Prayers fall
short in praising You and tongues become
dumb while enumerating Your favours.
O Lord! I have come in Your presence with a
firm determination, although my sins has
engulfed me but You are the most Benevolent
the most Honoured, the most
Generous among all, the best sustainer, the
greatest Creator, the first, the last, the
apparent, the concealed, the most
Honourable, the most Kind. You are too great

to refuse those whose hopes are pinned on

You, O the One Who deserves the praise, all
the praise is for You,
O my Lord, if I have been negligent in being
attentive to my soul and have spent the days
of my life in disobedience, still You are the
Lord of Bestowals, Possessor of Majestic, and
Grandeur. Still Your attention remains on this
soul.
Now make this soul successful in Your
Presence because You are the only Bestower,
the Benefactor, Possessor of Generosity, O
the One to illuminate the dawn, Grant the
favours of this heart although it does not
deserve.
O the excessive forgiver, O Allah I beseech
You by those names which moulds the
destiny, by Your Honour which complete the
actions, send blessings on Mohammad and his
progeny and grant me pure and vast
sustenance.
O the Beneficent and Merciful don't let any
barrier come between You and me. Grant me
the position of those whom You have elevated
their status and have made Your approval
forgiveness very common.
O my Lord! You have blessed Your
representative with Your signs (miracles) and
have made Your protection necessary for
them, and in order to save them from
destruction You have put them under Your
care.
I am also Your insignificant creature, grant
me salvation and protection and make me
attentive towards Your obedience.

And Your Grace to make me curtail
disobedience because tongue speaks in
various language, tongue speak out and is
fulfilling their desire, I have put my hopes to
ask for my needs and have hopes of erasing,
my defects because You are fully aware of
concealed things.
